I come here specially for the pork marinated in green or red sauce. It?s delicious. Very friendly staff with great service.
We arrived for a Saturday visit around 6pm. We had a table of 6. One of our party did not want an alcoholic drink. She ordered 2... a la cart burritos. Who appeared to be a manager came to our table and told her that she could not order a La cart because shedid not order alcohol. If she wanted to keep her order he would have to charge her for the tables chips and salsa which theybrought complimentary. She ended up cancelling her order and rather than let her have it a La cart the manager left it at that.When we spoke to him at the end he was defensive and combative. We will never go back. Service was extremely quick. Food quality was alright. We were excited for chips and salsa. Please note that additional chips... are $3.50 (it's on the menu). My wife wanted a great Tostada dinner on Sept 16th Mexican Independence Day. I was craving a great Burrito. I just drove to El... Zarape. Walked in. Told the owner take out. Sat at the little bar. It's a small restaurant that serves excellent food. Our server was very busy but also very attentive and friendly. We had... reservations for 6:30 for 6 and were actually seated early. Their Patron Margaritas are awesome. I highly recommend thisrestaurant. We are happy we picked El Zarape to entertain our guests!!!!!! Read more
Great food, great service, great price. Little crowded, but the personality of the staff, owner and neighborhood is great as... well. I wish it was a little closer so I could enjoy it more often. Oh, and my margarita ???? was soo good. Read more

Ordered a taco dinner with black beans . They gave me refried beans instead. Im really upset I paid 25$ total with chips and a... drink. They could of at least got my order right for the expensive price of 25$ for one person. Bogus. I'm sticking to DelCarmen. Taco dinner for 8.99$ and they never got my order wrong.
