Best Indian food in Chicagoland. The quality of the food is as good as its always been. Their portions are spot on and the... currys are very distinct and tasteful. With most Indian restaurants you get people who cut corners and use the same gravy formany curries. India Palace doesn't do that. Each of their curries has a distinct taste and flavor. You remember all of themand frankly speaking they remind me of food from India. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I wish they had morelocations or had a newer ambience but I go here for the food and I am never disappointed. Their naans are freshly made and theyaren't rubbery. I life 45 mins from the restaurant but whenever I want Indian food I go to India Palace. Read more

Tried this restaurant for the first time , I didn?t have high expectations because of some online reviews but guess what? the... food was delicious and much better than what I expected, spoke with owners or managers over there , they were super friendlyand helpful !! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. WORST RESTAURANT EVER. TERRIBLE SERVICE One of the worst experiences I have ever had. They are arrogant... and not helpful at all. Tried ordering food but they put a mandatory 20% gratuity and gives us the explanation that its to paytheir waiter and dishwashing guy. The service was terrible and the food was horrible. Would not give us a proper receipt so thattheir charges can stay covered and probably hidden. They call giving plates their service and thats about it. We needed to tellthem to bring us water. Food is so good! I came with friends and tried: - Chicken Lababdar (it has cashew so if you have allergy, this is not the option... for you) ???? - Kadai chicken ???????? or kadai paneer if you want cottage cheese instead of chicken - Paneer Bhuji (moretomatoe-y) - Garlic Naan - chicken samosa (I do NOT recommend at all) - cumin rice My fave is chicken lababdar and KadaiChicken. This is the second time buying goat curry here. The first was great 100% delicious. This second time my goat tasted as thought... beef was mixed in it the texture of the meat was like beef. I actually spit the meet out. Some was goat. I?m hoping I?m wrong orit could be beef accidentally fell in the goat or was bought like that. I?m really hopping I?m wrong. My family and I had a great experience! The food was delicious and garlic naan was exceptional. The food we ordered tasted home... made, not oily and good quantity as well. Try the orange kulfi - not too sweet and nice citrus flavor. Read more
