Best seafood experience by far!! Took my wife for her birthday and she was beyond happy! We both ordered a mai tai which was... amazing. Ny wife had the snow crab 20oz and she was in heaven!! Thank you for the fast service. I do t think we waited more than5-10 mins for our food. And we were very much taken care of! Read more
Diner Guy here took Diner Gal out for her birthday and we had a great time at Bob Chin's. BIG SHOUT OUT to our server J.D.... steering us the right way, great guy, genuine and lots of fun. Been a minute since last here, but my lady loves seafood and they still never disappoint in service, speed, attentiveness, clean... and especially outstanding food!! Fresh as a restaurant right on the ocean, but thousands of miles from sea!! The garlic bread???? was fantastic!! Vampires stay hundred miles from this place! We started with bacon ???? wrapped scallops and crab cakenuggets….both were so satisfying and properly warming up the main stars here: She had the lobster ???? roll and I had Virginiasoft shell crabs ????, but very delicious! Large chunks of lump meat in a toasted bread boat with just enough sauce to allow thelobster to be the sweet star of show! The soft shell crabs were lightly battered and absolutely delicious!! I would stronglysuggest reservations, but our bar tables worked very well!! Update: Meal was excellent. This time soup was delivered hot, steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Service was upgraded... from previous visit. They close pretty early during the week still. We came in on an off night, and the kitchen was slow. Notin a good way. Clam chowder cup as an appetizer was tasty, but not very warm. It showed up after my associate had finished hisgumbo. Blackened swordfish took a very heavy path through the butter, way too much oleo. I'm hoping that this visit was ananomaly. Read more
The times of glory and quality only exist in the wall of fame near the main entrance. We’ve been there 4 years ago and overall... food quality and experience were great. Post pandemic the times has changed dramatically. Oysters - chewy, tiny and not openclean. Salmon - grilled in advance and broiled quickly to warm it up. Whole Bass same story as Salmon. Sides greasy and barelywarm. Overall don’t ruin your evening and wallet by visiting this place. Read more
