Buca is the Italian restaurant I go to when I want a very large meal. The dish sizes are very large. If you are going with two... plus you’ll really want to share something because you will not be able to finish it no matter what you get. The food is quitebasic though so the factor is really only the huge portion. The environment is a little extreme in the Italian world, the menbathrooms are filled with some interesting pictures, you’ll know what I mean. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurantfor the food serving sizes, you will have a very high chance of being full every time you eat there food. Read more

Very underwhelming. The Sweet Tea is just warm tea in a bag with a separate container of sugar and sugar substitute packets. I... ordered the baked ziti, it was burnt. You can definitely make better ziti at home and probably for less than the price of $30.It tasted like they emptied a jar of unseasoned marinara sauce sprinkled cheesed and baked it. No flavor. This is our first trip back to inside dining since the pandemic and the food, server and staff were all excellent. To start, the... server "Megan" came out with hot bread, must have been directly out of the oven, poured us some dipping olive oil and it was theperfect addition and compliment to our "Apple Gorgonzola Salad". For our entrée, my wife ordered the cheese ravioli with aglass of Riesling and I ordered the lasagna with a glass of Peroni Nastro Azzurro, a lager beer - recommended by our server,Megan - great tasting beer and went perfectly with this Italian meal. It was a Sunday afternoon; the restaurant was fairly busybut our food came out in a timely manner and all piping hot. Mid-meal, the manager stopped by our table to make sure everythingwas to our satisfaction - it could not have been better, plus plenty of leftovers to bring home for another great meal. All inall, our experience was perfect - good food, fantastic server and lots of leftovers. Oh yes, we did have desert, it was asharable "Colossal Brownie Sundae" the perfect finish to a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back! Wonderful food here! The waitstaff here were very nice and the food was great quality Italian food. The price here was a bit... expensive so I don’t think I’ll be coming here very often. The portions you get are VERY large. You’ll be bringing foodhome for sure. I will come back here for special occasions in the future. Read more

We absolutely love Buca! This is my go to anytime I want Italian & pastas! I love to ask for Leo as our server anytime I am here... in the wheeling location as he makes our visit wonderful! This was a very nice restaurant. The food came in very large family sized portions and was delicious. The prices are pretty... expensive but you get a lot of food too. I do recommend going here if you don't mind spending a little more . Read more
