So many people rave about this place. I finally got to go and sadly, I was not impressed. I think its overpriced and over rated.... Wings were average at best. A bowl of ice cream is 9 dollars! Why?? We've never ordered or ate here before but last night we both got home late and just wanted something quick but maybe be able to... take for lunch the following day so I jumped on DoorDash and saw Alpha Tavern was only 3 minutes from our house. We ordered thebaked mac and cheese, the buffalo wrap and the Jamison Burger and it was all GREAT. The food was still warm when it arrived andit was only $36 for all of it excluding tip. We had a great dinner and great lunch! We will definitely be visiting soon. Read more

One of our regular spots when we're in Wheeling. The food quality is excellent and the portions are huge. I've attached the pork... nachos appetizers that is plenty large enough for six or seven people. The ravioli I had was very tasty and included a largebreadstick. They'll easily accommodate gluten free customers with a GF bun option for hamburgers. My wife thought her burgerwas delicious. When in Wheeling, make the effort to check this place out. Read more
I used to go here all the time before the update and I loved it. A little upset that it is a non-smoking bar entirely now but it... is super nice inside and the cocktails are so good. The caramel apple slushy is immaculate, as well as the sunrise margarita. Ifyou have a chance to hit a steak night I would heavily recommend it a twelve dollar new york strip with two sides is a reallygood deal and it's actually a fantastic steak. Read more
This place is a hidden gem in WV. The staff and owner by far is one of the best combos around! But the food... oh the delicious... food!! Served fast and hot! It is by far, absolutely AHHHHMAZING! Our cute as Christmas waitress hustled all night-never forgota thing. It was st Patrick’s day weekend and even though they were busy- we didn’t wait and weren’t felt to eat fast andleave.
