Absolutely loved our experience here. Non-pretentious, with good reason to be pretentious. The food was excellent and you can... watch the chef work his magic in an open-style kitchen. A great, small, open venue, making the atmosphere warm and welcoming.Good drink selections to accompany the great food! Dessert matched the quality of the dinner! Could not recommend enough! Willdefinitely return. Read more

I expected the place to be something else when I reserved, however it was 100Xs better than I ever could have imagined. Had the... lamb and ravioli and shared it with my date. Both were amazing to say the least. Zero complaints and the small cozy nature ofthe venue was perfect for a nice romantic dinner. The service was top notch with a blanket for my date because we were sittingnear a window and it can get a little chilly as they said. That alone right off the hop blew her away and made the time we hadthere even better. Were also given a on the house duck pâté with house made kettle chips and bread which was amazing as well. The entire experience was awesome and helped make our weekend in Whistler one of the best weekends of my life. Don't waste your time at this place. Way over priced for what tasted like old pub food. I made reservations and when I arrived... all the staff looked extremely bored, uninviting, and almost disinterested; they didn't even ask about the reservation which wasan immediate turn off since I had made special requests for my girlfriends birthday. The waiting staff could care less about ourinterests or whether we even enjoyed the food. We left after the horrible tasting appetizers and they didn't care. You're betteroff at McDonald's. We found the restaurant staff very personable! Their dinners are very unique and well planned out. The new school fish and... chips were so special and different than anywhere else. It was a real treat! Read more

This restaurant is very small. Amazing atmosphere, warm service, and great food. We ordered meat balls for kids and they were so... excited when I cut in half. But it was very salty so they couldn't finished it. Lamb and Duck were delicious, but I wasdisappointed a bit because the garnished vegetables for lamb and duck were the same. (Bit pricy, so I just expected that therewould be more variety on the side.) Read more

An unforgettable, unexpected experience that warmed the heart, soul and of course, the taste buds. After a late evening massage... at Scandinave Spa - where my partner and I honestly thought no restaurant would be open at that hour - Legs Diamond came to theabsolute rescue. Gosh - the food (onion soup, steak & frites and pasta) was devine, the staff acted like family, and the chefradiated love for his patrons, people and food. We loved every bite and moment we were there. You couldn't help but clearlyconnect the quality of the food to the love/kindness/warmth in the chef/staff. We sat and admired the beautiful interactions inthe restaurant - from the chef/owner entertaining one of the other remaining tables, to him encouraging a staff member to writein the books a later clock out time, and the infectious banter between the staff. Even the goodbyes - were so genuine andsweet. If you want to know what love tastes like, go to Legs Diamond. We will certainly be back. Alex and Kathy fromMelbourne, Australia Read more
