It is a tradition for my sister and I to celebrate our Birthdays at Chatterpaul's or any other occasion for that matter.... Expectations were high and you did not disappoint. The staff was so awesome, the young lady at the front and every server thatnight, contributed to our awesome experience. Our server Angle was so amazing. She did not act in the capacity of a server, shetreated us like a friend. She knew exactly what we wanted and she delivered. Thank you Angela for making Sevenn's Birthday amemorable experience. An amazing dining experience! You can really tell everyone from the servers to the chefs, really care about making your meal the... best it can be. Crab cakes, lamb curry, braised beef, everything tasted amazing! It is very clear how much effort is put intoevery ingredient on each item in the menu. Friends of ours joined us for dinner here last week. Nestled in a strip plaza in Whitby, Chatterpaul?s has a large outdoor... tented patio as well as a very nice indoor dining area. A great wine and cocktail selection.I would recommend the Tiki Mule. Gin, island punch and ginger beer. To start we had an amuse bouche prepared by the chef, following with coconut shrimp and thebruschetta. The shrimp dish was 4 pieces of large shrimp. Tasted great but this could be had anywhere. Nothing stood out. Thebruschetta on the other hand was the star of the appetizers! Our mains consisted of the beef rib, which sat on top of a bed ofcreamy mashed potatoes along with roasted vegetables. The catfish special of the day came with 2 shrimp on top of a bed of rice.The pasta dish was a cheese stuffed tortellini with shrimp. None of these dishes missed. All were incredible. Amazing Food, and excellent service. Fusion of West Indian and Italian/Canadian Cuisine. Calamari is delicious, Mussels are the... best I've had and the Mahi Mahi over Spinach filled ravioli in a lobster cream dill sauce was to die for actually so were thecrab cakes. Excellent food, shared the baked brie, escargots (happy hour has half price apps and wine!) and had the duck, my partner had the... mahi and ravioli, and everything was superb. Great atmosphere too! Read more

What a hidden gem. Loved this experience. Angela was a fantastic wait staff, knowledgeable of entire menu and wine list. ... Enjoyed all her recommendations . The little touches, like mini appetizer courtesy of Chef and bathroom soap by T -L spa, thescent and feel was pleasantly unexpected. Loved it ALL. Angela, you made the evening a little brighter.
