I don't know what happened to this place? I assume new management or ownership?? I used to love the fusion burritos, in fact I... last ordered one Sep 1st and it was quite large but today the burrito was literally HALF the size it used to be for the sameprice! I was still hungry after eating it. My wife ordered a biryani plate and it was completely different from what sheordered . . . it was supposed to have tandoori chicken, cucumbers, turnip, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and garlic sauce . . .instead it came with a few scraps of chicken, onions, and an egg on top?!?! My wife called and the person was extremely rudeand said that was what she ordered and hung up on her . . . my wife called back and the restaurant would not pick up the phone. I can no longer recommend this restaurant . . . what a shame, I used to really enjoy the food here. Read more

I think the samosas have slipped from a solid 5 star to an average 3 star (compared to when they started 2017). I would probably... still go back since whitby location is close to home, but less often of course. I am not happy with the current quality level.The samosas back in 2017-2019 used to be way better. Their ajax and oshawa locations never disappointed. But I think sadly theirquality slipped during covid. And the Whitby location is just not doing great. I wanted this place to be great so bad because its close to home... tried 3 times now. All three times have been... disappointing. Today, right in lunch hour - very limited selection, out of sauce for samosas and I'm certain these arefrozen/premade samosas... Maybe just try elsewhere. I wont even describe the poor experience we had with the dinner plates onearlier visits. Two stars... because they're cheap and I ate all the samosas even though they were disappointing. Read more

The worst samosas I've ever had. Taste like canned meat and veggies taste like instant boxed mashed potatoes. Texture is... awful...need taste like spam or dog food. O can't believe I spent the extra on such garbage. Even grocery store is better andthis place has samosa in the name. Had higher expectations. Just wish I didn't order enough for a few days. I had at least 4different places in Oshawa and grocery store both deli and frozen. Theses are the worst. Read more

This is my third time having food from this store. Their food is really good, portion is really really HUGE. Today I got a... fusion biriyani plate (lamb) and the portion is good enough for three adults! There was meat in every bite of the biriyani. Thesalad comes with the biriyani is also very tasty. I like their lamb and veggie samosa most, and their masala tea is my favoriteas well. One ofvthe ebst halal place to grab Indian snacks and tea. Customer service is also satisfactory. First time buying from here and it was just fantastic! Fresh, delicious and great portion sizes!! I had a Biryani plate with... tandoori chicken and butter chicken. I also ordered 3 diff types of samosas (Lamb/jerk chicken and Spinach&cream cheese) with aside of cauliflower. Wish I ordered more samosas though lol they were scrumptious!! I stopped by for lunch and decided on the small Fusion Shawarma Biryani Plate. I chose not to get the salad, which I would add... next time (my mistake). For my two meats I chose Tandoori chicken and Devil's chicken. Next time I would choose two that weren'tso similar (again, my mistake). The food is all served from a hot table. It was very good, although, it was only lukewarm whichwas my only complaint. It's more than enough food for two meals or for two people to split. The portions are super generous. TheDevil's chicken is great, it is very spicy, I like spicy food and it's at the upper end of my heat tolerance. We've orderedtheir samosas in the past, our favourites are the veggie. Samosa Hut is amazing !!!! Incredible customer service ! Definitely check them out. The food is great! So far I?ve had the... shawarma plate and shawarma chicken pocket. Both were very good. You will not be disappointed. And also, if you have anyquestions about the food they are able to explain in detail exactly and the spice level. Read more
