I don?t understand why people be so hard on black owned businesses. They get busy because they?re food is good! Sometimes you... have to wait! It?s common sense. I love the new boneless curry and chicken wings ontop of mostly everything. Not everyday youwill get the best food from a restaurant they?re businesses with different staff. Worst customer service in the business. Only thing that is saving it, is the food. Very unprofessional. Will make you stand in... line while they chit chat and not serve you. Will knowingly stay in the back while you wait to be served. Asking questions seemto be painful for it to be answered. Worst location by far out of all locations. Read more

Sunrise Caribbean Whitby Ordered two meals tonight and it took just shy of two hours to arrive (yes, I used ubereats because I... have little ones at home and couldn?t pick up but it wasn?t the drivers fault at all!), I placed two calls to the restaurant tofind out what was happening with my order. The final call was because the Uber driver was stuck there waiting to collect thefood and we were messaging on the app about it. The food then arrives and is missing 3 separate items! Half the food is coldand had to be microwaved, another one of the items is out lying loosely in the plastic bag and one of the containers was clearlybroken so I had to catch it quickly from spilling all over the place. I call them back for the third time and let them knowabout the missing items and her answer was ?the best I can do is if you want to come here I could give it to you for free?.. forfree, what?!? I already paid for it and I?m not driving 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back when I just paid for delivery forthat reason! Thankfully Uber will be giving me a refund in 3-10 days on the missing items but nonetheless this is some reallyPOOR customer service! Read more

This is my 2nd time ordering from this location. Having had an order cancelled a few days ago and waiting 5 days to return my... money I decided to try again this evening. I was so not impressed . How hard is it to change the uber to notify customers thatyou do not have a product. They accept your order take your money then tell you to substitute. Well fine if youd get the ordercorrect . Ordered 4 meals and 3 were completely wrong.It's a total disappointment when I order from.Courtice store and everytime there is never a problem. I wont visit the Whitby location ever again !!! August 3rd, 2021. 7 PM ordered with a nice young lady on the phone. I am so glad I got a different perspective of this place.... I've seen many reviews about this place and it was literally a cold hard decision because there's not many places up here inDurham, that serves Caribbean foods. But for what it's worth.. it was a great experience for me. The food was awesome. I got acurry goat and 2 oxtail dinners w/ rice and peas, a large serving of slaw, dumplings, and plantains. I'm not all about theplantains here because it was a bit oily, but the dumplings and dinners were bomb. The severing was quite filling. I give it a 5stars ???? Read more
