I rarely give bad reviews, but I really had to say something about this particular experience. The reason I'm giving this... review 2 stars is because of the pros which are : the atmosphere is very cozy and classy, the calamari was not overcooked as itis in some restaurants my husband's steak was decent, and the Olive dip for the bread was actually pretty good. Everything elseabout this experience was very poor. My steak said it was going to come with Alaskan crab , I really did not know what thatentailed but I was not expecting crab meat on top that tasted like I was out of a can. The mashed potatoes tasted completelybland they said they were garlic mashed potatoes I could not taste garlic unless it was a powder base. My steak was oddlyenough cooked medium but tasted as if it was reheated , it tasted very similar to a tv dinner. The vegetables were so blandand had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. This restaurant came highly recommended to us by someone that we know who said that itwas the the taste of a fine dining expensive steakhouse at an affordable price. My husband and I have eaten at restaurants likeMorton's and fancy steakhouses. I honestly do not care paying the price if the food is cooked to my liking however this food wasso bad and we ended up paying over 200 dollars for our entire meal. I know that the Keg gets a bad rep as far as low endsteakhouse however I feel food at the keg and the price is way better than anything I ate here and Bang for your buck you can'tbeat it and the food at the Keg, in my opinion for a chain steakhouse is actually yummy. Very disappointed, only giving 2 stars for service and atmosphere. Very clean inside. Food was honestly not worth it all. 3... people at our table ordered steaks and the steaks tasted as if they were pre Frozen and we?re very rubbery/chewy. Food had noflavour. Portions were big but I rather have a smaller portion and get food that tastes good. Went based on all The previousgood reviews and definitely regret going. Don?t get to go out with family often and it was a disappointment. They do give you anolive Spread at the table with warm bread which was good. Read more

This place has been one of the go place for steak recently. I like the quality of their steak which is very juicy and tender.... Also, they have some very good bread that we always asked for more especially it comes fresh. Read more

My husband took me here for valentines day for the first time and it was absolutely an amazing experience! Our server was Jimmy... and he was so nice , funny, and gave excellent customer service. The service was fast and the atmosphere and presentation of thefood was awesome .I have been living in Stouffville for a few years and this is my first time and definitely won?t be my last.Definitely recommend! Wow, the food was amazing, the staff was even better! They were always on hand, drinks were never empty and dirty plates/cutlery... were taken away and replaced immediately. I live from out of town but am definitely coming back here again. Read more
