My wife and I were coming home from up north today and decided noodles for lunch would be good. Stouffville was enroute so did a... search and came across Zen Hakka - so bit of an accident that we patronized the place. We couldn't really read the menu on thephone screen so risked a call instead. The gentleman who answered was helpful and we got an order in, though really weren't surewhat it was we had ordered! Still not exactly sure what it was but there were noodles, beef and veggies, and it was terrific -beautiful noodles, tender beef and beautifully fresh, crisp celery and other veggies. We also ordered what I had hoped would bevietnamese rolls (the cold, transparent kind) but turned out to be deep fried spring rolls. Great guilty pleasure - almosttasted like donuts! Ate here for the third time and consistently good food. Had the dinner specials tonight x 3. Crispy ginger beef, chilli fish,... and Bombay chicken, with white rice, egg fried rice and Hakka noodles. Food came quick and fresh. Good quantity for 4 people.Good pricing too. Nice clean place and never feels overcrowded. Becoming a staple for us. Read more

Delicious and great service. They definitely put the customer first! I had ordered the lunch special and got egg fried rice... instead of steam rice. Mentioned it to the server who at no additional cost brought out a bowl of white rice and let us keep theegg fried rice too. We drive out of the way to come here. The pineapple chicken fried rice is amazing because of the Thai basil flavour. And the... portion size is excellent. The cashew chicken and Thai basil dishes come with lots of veggies. Lots of dishes to choose from.The food comes out super quickly. They even have plastic dishes for kids. Read more

I?ve always ordered from here on UberEats. I decided to visit this place in person this time, I ordered whatever you see in the... pictures. The food was super fresh and really tasty. The ambiance is nice and the servers were friendly. We had Bombay chicken,Chilli chicken, Chicken corn soup, Chicken pakoras, and Schezuan fried rice. Everything was perfect and hit the spot!! I woulddefinitely visit again and I recommend this place for the food. However one loss in star for the service: -When we had to askfor condiments for the soup like soy and green chillies we only got the latter. (small details go a long way!) -Had to grabservers attention every time we needed something. - Every time we asked for napkins they would give 2 or 3 only, the food isspicy and when you ask the second time you would guess they?d get the idea that hey we?d be needing more than 3 napkins as afamily of 3. Love their pad thai, it says spicy but you should ask for spicy, because I didn't ask and it wasn't spicy but flavour was there.... Lots of chicken and so filling. The peanut chicken wasn't what I thought, it was battered instead of saucy, but I liked thechange, definitely would try other items on their menu next time. Read more

Very glad that an Asian restaurant opened in Stouffville and offers an extreme variety of Thai and Asian food. I also really... like how each dish is customizable with its protein options (chicken, beef, shrimp or none, to make it vegetarian). The dishesaren't overly salty or oily, which are great benefits. The portion size is generous. I ordered the family meal for 5 peopleplus 1 extra noodle dish on the side and it came to a total of $102.80 after tax. The downside to this place is that the pricesare not available online nor can you order online with them. I'm intrigued to try other dishes. Read more
