Attentive service from what appeared to be a manager. Great better-than-the-State-Fair appetizer and great, thick patty melt... burgers on marbled rye bread. Hand-cut fries. Yum. Great background music from the 80's. Update - second visit went well, butthey sometimes sell out of their specialty burger-of-the-day pretty early. Read more

Got there just after they opened on a Sunday, the girl there was very friendly. Place was nice and had a pretty good beer and... whiskey/bourbon list. Ordered the half pound hangover burger. Was cooked perfectly for medium rare. I thought it was a goodburger. I will say I thought it was all a little spendy. For the burger, fries and a coke it was $22. I was surprised to see Iwas charged $1.00 for fries, I didn't see it mentioned there was a upcharge. Will go back to try them again, they had a fairlybig menu for a burger place. Read more

Very poor customer service directly from the store owner Robert. We asked for a manager, we're told they currently don't have... one. This was our first time ordering from this restaurant in our local area and wanted to give it a try. We ordered onlinewhich was easy to do, picked up the order right on time and left a tip for the staff at the front desk. When we arrived home westarted to enjoy our food. When we opened our two Caesar salads we got instead of fries for an extra $2 each, they were brownand red tinted in color. So we decided to call since it's not a big deal and see what they could do for us either this time ornext. The exact words from the owner Robert were as follows: Owner "So your telling me I'm serving bad lettuce?" Guest "Itlooks like the lettuce you would buy at the store that they should take off the shelf due to bad age or shelf life." Owner "Ifyou think we served you bad lettuce, we don't want your business again. Guest "Can I get your name please?" Owner "we don't wantyour business" and hung up on us. This is no way to manage a business and this conversation will be wide spread because nobodyshould receive treatment like this and not get a respectful response for it. Especially from a business owner serving food tothe local community. If it matters, the employees who worked the front desk and who brought the food out were great anddefinitely would not have done this if they were in this position we believe. When you run a business you should lead byexample. I hope this is not regular way they see customer experiences being handled. Unacceptable! We do not recommend and willnot return. Read more

Tried this joint a couple of weeks ago. The burgers and cheese curds, for which we requested spicy aoli/ranch instead of... marinara sauce, were tasty. For the side, hubby chose onion rings, daughter chose tots, and I chose the fries. We all thoughtthat the seasoned fries were the best of the three. Our dughter ordered an apple turnover for dessert, and she commented thatthe ice cream was off and had an odd texture. The waitress looked into it and, lo, it was a scoop of sweetened cream cheese!Lemme tell ya, vanilla bean ice cream would've been a much better accompaniment. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience--somuch so that I'm going back tomorrow for a lunch outing. This place has sufficient parking for busy times and a selection ofbeers to suit a wide range of palates. It also has a burger food challenge, but anyone will be hard-pressed to beat the currentchamp--Molly Schuyler! She's a--no, THE legend amongst competitive eaters. Read more

I was very hesitant to eat here at first because it was in a small town and when we walked in the whole place just stared like... we didn’t belong. But the hesitation quickly dissipated once the hostess seated us. She was super friendly and greeted usexcitedly. We were sat quickly and greeted by a waitress almost immediately. The waitress was also very nice and accommodating.Super friendly and we had some good conversations. The food was good for a burger joint. Nice juicy patty, well seasoned and thecheese oozing out took it to another level, overall good spot for a nice quality meal that won’t break the bank. Nice for acasual date or an outing with family and friends. There were tvs all around, daily specials, pull tabs and a couple arcadegames. Worth a stop if passing by on the highway like I was.
