This was my first experience at Orchid. I stopped in for lunch and was seated quickly. My server Vi, was very friendly, helpful... and prompt with my meal & beverages. After debating between the beef pho and the Lúc Lác Beef I decided to go with the latteras I had never tried it before. My meal came out relatively quickly for a busy restaurant during the lunch rush. It wasextremely hot as it was served on a hot plate. The beef was extremely tender cooked perfectly, the potatoes were crisp, and thesauce used on the dish was very flavorful. Overall, the service and the food were both fantastic. PERFECT COMBO OF SWEET & HEAT. The Special Thai Basil is the sizzling platter in the pic. I added shrimp. The sauce was a... slightly sweet coconut flavor with a nice kick of heat. Perfect combo. Very good tasting food, and all the staff are superstars, wow, on the go and the best I've seen. Please beef up the portions on... your lunch menu, good amount of rice, eggrolls were the best, but the main portion, the entree was too small. Read more
