We reserved the ballroom at the Manitou Event Center for our wedding rehearsal dinner and couldn’t be happier with our choice.... The staff were very friendly, quick to respond, and accommodating. They posted signs at each entrance to lead our guestsupstairs which was helpful. The price was fair and the room was plenty big to host our party. I came back after hearing about the new menu. The service was great, but the noise level was a bit much. I hope they can figure... out a way to dampen the ceiling or walls. Food was ok, I was hoping to be amazed by the Waygu burger, but it was just a goodburger. Tha bacon was an excellent smoked flavor, and added something special. We had the spare ribs, and it was more ike potroast. I was expecting a bone-in spare rib, but instead was given a small cube of roasted meat on a bed of mashed potatoes. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was ok. The sauce did not have anything interesting, no pop of flavor, like... garlic, just a decent but rather bland white sauce. The service was pretty good, we sat outside. There is a nice big awning togive the patio some nice shade but they don't use it. A few tables had umbrellas, otherwise I hope you enjoy full sun. 47 women on a mystery trip out of Fargo enjoyed a wonderful meal here tonight. Despite the large crowd they did their best to... keep bringing the food out. We all marveled at the delicious toss side salad and dark bun as a starter. Our portions were huge. My meatloaf was very tasty. Real red mashed with skins on. Food, drinks, and service are great. They have live music during the summer. It’s a pretty relaxed vibe, and family... friendly. Appetizers are great! I’d highly recommend the chicken tenders. Read more
