This was during a power outage. Had no ways to cook or heat anything up at home. Since we're immune compromised, ordered... Doordash with a restaurant that we've never tried before. Delivery was faster than the estimated time and the food was amazinglydelicious! Husband can't stop talking about the prime rib. If it left that kind of an impression from delivery, I'm sure itwould have tasted even better dining in! And it's so worth it to have it again. The fish sandwich was very tasty too. The breadbun was too small for the fish size, but besides the, it's still very tasty. This restaurant is on the higher end expense wise,but the portion size and flavors makes up for it. We totally recommend this restaurant and will have to come and experience adine-in next time. Read more
The food was great all around. We started with the Sea-o-plenty appetizer. They were out of oysters but subbed in more of the... other items. The walleye bites were really good. Ordered the Rudytini and it was delicious, it had a nice raspberry-cran flavorand a large quantity! The pan fried walleye was great. The ribs were excellent. The medallions were nice and tender and juicy.One person in our party ordered the sweet potato hash rows and raved about those. Read more
Good overall experience. Our meals were very good and I had some picky eaters in my party. The place was packed on a random... Monday for dinner. Our waiter missed on table servce. My Arnie Palmer tasted like watered down tea after two attempts and thebreadsticks that come for the table arrived after the meals. Otherwise I would give them 5 stars for this visit. This is a nice cozy place I like to come to on a Sunday. The food and service are always good. The chicken soup was very good. ... I love the sides, like the sweet potato hash and teriyaki green beans. Much better option than french fries any day. This day,I had the meatloaf with au gratin potatoes and green beans. I've had the walleye before and it was excellent. The warm freshbread is very good. I also had the Key lime pies for dessert. They had many good options for dessert but this was the lightestone. Service was good, very friendly. Did not get app plates for our party of 10, so we used our napkins. Oysters are buttery but not... fully cleaned. About half had bits of shell in them. And the main issue was the "seared scallops" which have never been close toa frying pan. Please, chefs, don't call them seared when they are not seared. Would you call bare chicken breaded? Much better than we expected. We have been to the roof top multiple times over the last few summers, but have never went to the... inside restaurant. The menu was very different, which we knew. Everything was really good. I had the pork chops which wereprepared perfectly. My wife had the Prime Rib, which was also really good (it looked a bit over cooked, but it was still verytender). The service was also awesome. We left super stuffed and a TON of leftovers to enjoy later. Will definitely visit again. Read more
Second year I have attended the Thanksgiving Buffet, and this place doesn't disappoint. All the traditional foods you'd expect,... plus a couple of new items. The desert table was huge, and as far as I could tell, there was Apple, Pumpkin, and Pecan pie, andvarious bars and brownies! We were in the first seating at 11:00, and it filled up quick!
