I would give this restaurant a 11/10 if I could. What an amazing place. Superb service, with a cozy vibe, and fresh food done to... perfection. We usually go here whenever we go to Pocono, and this is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. I always get theFrench Onion Soup and the Chicken Parmesan. Both are served fresh to perfection. The French Onion soup is in a top tier, andit's exactly the soup you will find in DC's most expensive french places. The chicken parmesan just melts in your mouth. Highlyrecommend. Read more
If you are in the area this is a must stop by spot. I came here for our 5th anniversary and it was amazing. The service was... great. The food is impeccable, outdoor and indoor seating. Fantastic dinner. Really cool little piece of history turned into a fun restaurant. Service was good, food creative and great,... and drinks very tasty. We especially loved the calamari (so light and crispy!) and the summer toast. We got several sidesincluding Brussels sprouts and carrots, both of which were good. Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. Our waiter, Michael was attentive and helpful. He certainly helped make our dinning... experience enjoyable. We started with a couple of shucked oysters; entrees included Chicken Franchise, Pork A La Powerhouseending with the Powerhouse Peanut Butter Pie. Everything was delicious with large portions. The Pork A La Powerhouse was toppedwith huge chunks of crab covered in a wonderful dill sauce. The Chicken Franchise was enveloped in a wonderful lemon sauce. Wewill definitely be coming back. We had a amazing waitress she went above and beyond to make up happy I give a shout out to Patty. My appetizer was amazing and... delicious, But for my entrée it totally (sucked) I will start out with what I order a 4oz filet crusted with blue cheese andcrab cake as a add on / with a side mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. When the food runner brought my plate to the tablemy amazing waitress patty automatically knew at that moment the plate was messed up. She automatically to the plate away. Butwhen the plate came back from the kitchen from the 2nd chance my plate of tasted and looked like no experience linecook/dishwasher cooked my food. My crab cake was soaking greasy, the filet was supposed to be 4oz and it was 2oz the crumb bluecheese was. Blended with more bread crumb. The mashed potatoes taste like pearls blended with water. I drove past this place on the way to work everyday for six years and never stopped in. Well I ate there today and had no idea... what I was missing. The food was excellent. Medium priced and the waiter had an awesome personality and was very attentive toour needs. I don't know why it took me so long to eat there.. But I'll definitely be returning Read more
Had a really great dinner. Our appetizers were amazing. My steak was perfectly done and seasoned. The front staff when we walked... and the the bartenders were not very welcoming to our group but our waiter mike made up for it all. Thanks mike. The only thingI would say is it seem like we were being rushed out at the end. We had a group of 12. We had a reservation for 815. If theydidn’t want to their past a certain time maybe told us a head of time or shouldn’t of taken the reservation for a largegroup that late. They stop seating at 9 I believe. Understandable though everybody wants to go home after a long day and we hada large group. Again anything that was wrong with the restaurant or staff our waiter made up for it all. It was my first time here and they treated me like they knew it. Service was great, Decor was in-line to what is advertised... (very nice) & the food was great. The Amarone wine was a treat as well. The bartender made me a perfect old fashion too. I'll beback........soon. Read more
