We visited this place as a pit stop for our road trip.. How this place is above 4 stars is unbelievable. Clearly, there isn't... many Mexican places around here.. Beans and rice...bland. Chicken taco...boring. Steak burrito? Only good item we tried. Mexican food is full of flavors and spice, and the food had little of either. Additionally, Margaritas seemed to be a mix andnot freshly made. So, if you are craving authentic, high quality Mexican food, keep on driving and find somewhere else becausethis place doesn't have what you're looking for. Next, the service was terrible. It wasn't busy, people were standing at front,we asked for high chair, which was never brought. I eventually got it myself. I ordered a coke that came out flat...no problem,but my food was brought by a food runner and I never saw my server until I finished my meal. He never checked in on us duringdinner so I couldn't get a fresh coke. Finally, check was brought and it says pay at table. After waiting, we eventually got upand paid up front. Service may have had an off day, but the food quality is far from authentic and is bland as can be. Infact, we went to McD across the street after our visit. I am still mind boggled on how this could have this many positivereviews...I feel bad that this place is considered some of the people's "best" Mexican food. Delicious food, large menu to choose from, and the staff are as authentic and genuine as the cuisine! I ordered the Taco Supreme... Dinner, which comes with either grilled steak or chicken and my boyfriend got the Fajitas Hawaiinas, which was excellent aswell. Warm inside, teamwork-oriented staff, and modest prices. Great service! Started with chips and salsa. That was absolute best salsa I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Food was... absolutely delicious! I ordered the quesadilla suprema. My favorite was the chicken and the steak, but all four were delicious. Read more
We live a town over and decided to branch out and try a new place. Good golly, did we score! This place is incredible! The food... came out incredibly quickly and was SO good! I couldn't decide between the mango and strawberry margarita, so they did a halfand half for me! The nachos were on point! The meat was perfection and Oh. My. Goodness....
