The greeter up front on Saturday, Nov 26 at 4:15pm was obnoxiously rude and unwelcoming. As soon as she heard we had a party of... 8, she got all huffy and puffy and said she thought all the big parties were earlier in the day. The restaurant wasn't verybusy at the time, there were plenty of open tables, so it didn't make much sense for her to be so visibly upset. She went andjoined two tables together, and returned to seat us, but still had an attitude along with a loud sigh before she said, "oh thatsigh wasn't towards you guys." I'd recommend that management help coach her with some better people skills. On a positivenote, the waitress was fantastic and the food was great! Read more

I recently moved into the area and have ordered carry-out from here several times. The food is fresh and delicious. So far we've... tried, the chicken sandwich, fettuccine Alfredo, chicken fajitas, kids tendies with mashed potatoes and Reuben eggs rolls. Thisplace is on point and consistent every time. Also, their hostess/ carry-out taker person, I think her name is Grace? She's supernice and helpful too. Read more

I went in there on Sunday afternoon I hadn't been there for a couple of years. I was really impressed with the food and the... service. It was quick and it was tasty. The price was okay. My only complaint was they had these two young girls who weregreeters. They were standing there as you walked in and they were not very friendly and they seemed kind of stuck up. But onceyou got past that everything was pretty good. Read more

Mac and cheese with chicken.. it was horrible... chicken was all breaded and do over cooked it was hard and inedible.... blacked... steak salad was okay. But someone in kitchen needs to pay attention to not put a unsliced red onion under the steak... yea thatwasn't to nice to see or under your steak... Manger took off the one dinner as it was inedible... waitress was a bit miffed....like here you eat the chicken then. Nope she wouldn't even try it... why not ... have been trying this place many timesthroughout the years.. no its not cooking from scratch at all..... that chicken wasn't fresh at all.... don't waste your hardearned money on false advertising... dang the bar kiddy corner makes more from scratch then this place.. and get treated like aperson. We received a gift card to Sparkies and decided to try it out. We were seated in the bar area at a high top and were pleasantly... surprised by the prompt service despite how busy they were. We ordered the sirloin dinner and martinis from the happy hourmenu. The steaks were cooked perfectly (medium rare), and the whipped zip butter was a great addition to the meal. Wethoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and the pleasant bartender that took care of us. We are looking forward to goingagain sometime soon! Read more

If you don't want to wait for a table you'll have to go early or else expect a 30-60 min wait. The service and food were both... equally great. The presentation of the food is very professional. The atmosphere is modern and upscale. The name may be missleading, to me Sparkies seems like a run down hole in the wall, but don't miss this hidden gem. It also is tucked away in astrip mall, so don't drive by without a stop inside. Read more
