Reviews for Stella's Table in White Lake, MI

We had reservations for two. It was our wedding anniversary and we wanted to try a new place, so we drove 40 minutes to... Stella’s Table. We chose this restaurant because the reviews were generally good and the photos portraits a fine diningexperience. When we walked in we were seated at our table and immediately heard our soon to be server, Rachel, arguing with theother staff members that she did not want people seated in her section. This was a very loud argument, we were at the tableright behind the hostess stand and could hear this argument that was taking place by the kitchen bar area. When she came to ourtable we let it be known we heard her argument and would feel better if we were sat in another section. She moved us, then cameback and said “they’re making me take you guys.” It was an incredibly awkward experience for us. We were extremelyunderwhelmed with the entrees; shrimp pesto was bland and cold, the Cajun chicken risotto was watery. The black walnut oldfashion was the great. That’s about the only positive, other than that we could not wait to leave this establishment. We didnot ask to speak to a manager because we assumed that is who told our server that she had to take our table. We should have leftat that point though. Read more

Tried Stella’s carry out for the first and last time today, food was good but wasn’t worth the price! Paid $19 dollars for... the Sunday pasta and it didn’t even come with bread or soup/salad.. I understand inflation but come on. I will just continuewith highland house from now on! Read more

My wife and I have been here twice now, and have loved it every time and plan on returning many more times. Heather, the Bar... Manager, is fantastic, and our latest waitperson (Brittney) was great. Our first visit we had pasta, and on this last visittried their pizza. I would like to note that my wife has a gluten sensitivity, and she said the gluten-free shrimp pesto was thebest she has had, and their sweet potato pizza crust was excellent! Highly recommend Stella's Table! Read more

This is a very nice little place. The service was excellent. The food is on point. I had the piccata which was a little Bland... until I squeezed some lemon on it. The calamari was cooked perfection. Got to say the portion was not very large. Squid is notexpensive. We had a nice bottle of wine for 30 bucks which I thought was reasonable. Everyone enjoyed their food. So I wouldhave to say that this is a very solid dining experience. I would not hesitate for a moment to go again. I was in the restaurantbusiness for many years as a younger person and know the difference. Read more

Great experience. We went on Easter and everything was decorated so cute. Everything on the menu sounded amazing and it was hard... to decide, so we all made sure to get something different so we could taste each others. Our waiter, who was very funny andfriendly, suggested a side of sausage. So we also got that and it was totally worth!! Def be back!! Read more

First time in but highly recommended by a friend and well worth it. It wasn't exceptionally busy for a Saturday evening but the... service was on point and the kitchen timing was just right. Our server Matthew made some great recommendations and everythingwas prepared very well. Even the desserts while decadent, weren't overwhelmingly so and are scratch made. Great atmosphere andkid friendly also! Read more

Sat on the patio. Waitress was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. Started with calamari that was lightly... cooked and delicious. Get the baguette, I don't know how they do it but the inside was buttered. My chicken picatta wasexcellent. The chicken was not overcooked and still moist. Read more
