I wasnt impressed. I got the chicken salad. It wasnt terrible, however it was clearly mixed salad from a bag. I thought I was... getting a fresh cut salad??? So..ehh???? I'm so glad we came across this place. A great river view, great food and wonderful service. We loved the food but watching the... kayakers traveling down the river made it that much more enjoyable. I had one of the best pieces of Prime Rib, cooked perfectly.Don't forget the deep fried green beans! Read more

Friendly and fast service. Food was good. Started with chicken liver and onion rings. Entrees were the fried chicken and prime... rib French dip. The oil the chicken and liver were fried in really needed to be changed, but that's the only con of our meal. Read more
Cozy place right on the river. Popular with the locals and always has enough people there to make it lively. The employees are... awlays nice and pleasant. Food is always great! Party of 4, outdoor seating overlooking the river. I ordered the porterhouse with sweet potato fries...was a little... disappointed. While it was good, i give it only 3.5 out of 5 stars. It was cooked to my liking, medium rare, but lacked tasteand was a little to thin for my liking. Sauteed livers are good, and the gizzards definitely deserve considering when orderingappetizers! An excellent rack of ribs is definitely a good choice! Portions are generous, and the food is very wellpresented! Their top shelf Long Island Ice Tea is one of the best, if not the best, i tasted in resent memory! The enjoyableatmosphere, fast friendly service, and outstanding food are more than enough reasons for me to come back to try some of theirother delicious offerings on their menu. Read more
Had a great lunch at Jaywalker! The restaurant was nice, the service was great, the view was amazing and the food was fantastic!... We had the Beer Cheese burger and the Alabama Steak Salad. The burger came out stacked high. Burger, bacon, fried onion ring andbeer cheese. Delicious! The salad was amazing. I love a good salad with warm ingredients. This salad had greens, tomatoes,sauteed mushrooms and onions, cheese and steak bits (I requested medium rare). Added a little bit of Ranch dressing and it wasto die for. First time here. Had a wonderful dinner on the deck overlooking the river. Lake Perch was delicious and the special coleslaw was... perfect. The Sampler platter of deep fried veggies is all done with perfection and the mushrooms were extra good. Everything wasgood! We'll be back for sure!! Read more
