Came all the way from Vancouver. Wanted to wait for the restaurant open and eat here, was ordering on my phone so that I can... take out asap when the restaurant opens and enjoy a family dinner. someone told me not to park here and the ?customer parking?sign is literally in front of me and he said this is a private parking. After hearing from others, it was definitely nice to finally try this little gem of a tapas bar. We enjoyed everything from the... ambiance, to the service, to the piano player and of course the food. We ordered a few different items off the menu but by farwe enjoyed the avocado boats, crab cakes and tenderloin. It's not an inexpensive place but the food was very good. It was busyon a Saturday night, so would recommend reservations. Nice proximity to White Rock for that after dinner stroll. We had a greatevening and will definitely being going back. Read more
Nice atmosphere, it doesn't feel authentic Spanish, it does have the tavern feel tho. The food was incredible. I've never had... such fresh food in vancouver. In my opinion, the crab cakes were made in house, I will have to go back and ask! Exquisite Read more

Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, but it was a bit disappointing. The hostess and server were both great,... but there were fruit flies buzzing around our heads and diving into my wine, the blackened chicken was very thin cut and superdry, the Halibut was very overdone (I know, Halibut is difficult to cook... Went with a group of friends on a Friday night. The service was excellent - the servers were really friendly and checked on us... often. The food was good, although they had a limited selection of entrees to choose from. The major issue for me was that theatmosphere was really LOUD. There was a live piano player, but the sound of voices in the room pretty much drowned out all ofthe music. It was so loud that I had to actually lean in to hear the person sitting next to me. By the time we left my voice washoarse from having to talk so loudly. There was a large group there for a birthday party at the time, so maybe that hadsomething to do with it. Read more
This is the first time we've been to Bin 101. I've seen the other one in Vancouver but never experienced eating there. I made a... reservation at their website online which was great. My wife and I went there on a Saturday night. It's a small restaurant andit was packed. The first thing we notice was the noise level was quite high. When we sat down across from each other we couldbarely hear each other. Our waitress came and took our drink order and when she came back we ordered dinner. I ordered the crabcakes to share and I had the Linguini de mare and my wife had the Maple glazed salmon. The food was very good. Loved theLinguini and the seafood. They had a musician playing piano and sing. He was good and entertaining. It was obvious Bin 101 had alot of repeat customers. They were singing and dancing in the aisles.
