They have a new head chef ????????? and it?s awesome now. Likes: - The ingredients were quality and fresh. The buns were soft... and fresh every time, the vegetables were fresh, sliced nicely, and washed, the chicken was battered beautifully (if I?m notmistaken they do this in-house) - The food was cooked exceptionally well. The chicken was juicy and tender, while being cookedall the way (but not overcooked). The fries weren?t burnt, or overcooked, or even a little overdone, literally ?goldenperfection?. - The taste of the food was excellent, the fries taste like they were cooked in vegetable oil - The coke fountainuses the proper ratio for the iced tea and orange fanta (not too strong, like some places in town) - The dining area smells nice(nicer than most places, like nice enough I thought to mention it, and not chemically either) - They gave me like 5-8 packets ofketchup AUTOMATICALLY every time, I didn?t have to ask for more. (So many places just wanna give you 1 or maybe 2 packets for awhole thing of fries, which is just crazy) - The dining area was clean and the seats were comfortable, high chairs wereavailable for the little ones. - The milkshake was very good, not too thick. - The chef wore gloves while preparing the food(some places don?t do this) - The kitchen looked very clean - The washrooms were clean. - It?s right inside the lobby of thehotel so it would be a really good place to eat if staying here. Dislikes: - All the burgers come with mayonnaise by default(this is entirely a personal preference) Other than that I can?t say I disliked anything. Read more
If you like microwaved cardboard burgers with wilted black lettus and a mushy bun topped off with terrible service at an... expensive price then you'll love this place. I guess I should say something nice too... Fries were good and the place wasclean. Read more
While staying at the Ramada in Whitecourt I figured I?d try this place out. The place was empty at 6:30pm. I was greeted, or... rather grunted at by an elderly lady with a mouth full of chewing gum. It seemed like a bother for her to take my order. Aftershe handed me a dirty paper bag with my order in it I had to ask about the drink that?s supposed to come with my combo, to whichshe replied ? well ya didn?t ask for it so I didn?t think ya wanted one??? I got back to my room to watch some playoff hockeyand tried to choke back the leather that was the Burger ( having to discard the black spotted wilted lettuce) until my jaw couldtake no more. If you?re looking for a good homemade burger go elsewhere. Only bright side is the onion rings were decent, eventhough there was no ketchup in the bag and I wasn?t about to go back down and bother her for any??????? Read more
Would be great if the website actually told you what you were getting. I sent my husband out to get supper for my family and we... spent way more money than I was expecting for bland, unseasoned burgers, and a chicken ?platter? that?s really just four chickenstrips on soggy fries. After all that money I still had to give my younger two kids a sandwich because I didn?t realize theywere only getting two strips of chicken each. Frustrating. Read more
Attacjed right to the Ramada Inn is One of my favorite places in town for fries! Love the variety and the burgers are good! They... also make shakes (2 sizes) in house that are thick and delicious! The burgers are huge and the side of fries is just as big!Also they have like s value pack for groups of people or familys. Love that! This is my favourite place for Burgers! Staff are amazing and welcoming atmosphere. Perfectly clean place and people here follow... safety rules. Had been a fan of Boardwalk burgers since my first visit last March of this year 2021, almost 2 months now. I hopeyour dine in opens soon and I enjoyed the staff being so welcome and felt safe here. The staff were friendly and the place was spotless. Ordered the BBQ Cheddar Beef Bacon and Chili cheese Fries. The burger was... ok but pretty meh - a paper thin layer of bbq sauce you could barely taste, and otherwise the burger had no flavor. Goodquality patty, but no detectable seasoning. Maybe the giant, watery tomato slices were there for flavor. The fries looked likethey were excellent before toppings were added and I wish I?d just stuck to a normal batch. The ?chili? was about 5 chunks ofold hamburger patty and a spoonful of beans. Not even exaggerating. I get with covid there isn?t enough volume to justifya pot of chili cooking for 1 customer, but if you can?t support a menu item, take it off the menu for now. Or maybe ask thecustomer to order something else. Drowning fries in extra watery cheese doesn?t help. Honestly I won?t be back, but maybe trythis place post-pandemic and see if the standards have increased. It?s still better than McD?s but you?ll be more satisfiedgoing to Wendy?s if you?re set on franchise food. Read more
This was probably the worst customer service I have ever had. I ordered cheeseburgers with just ketchup for both my kids... burgers. When the cook brought them up I said these both just have cheese and ketchup right he said yes but that one has mustardon it. So I was like OK that?s fine. Get home they have no cheese and full of pickles and onions. So I take them back and I wasquestioned like I was wrong. They remade the burgers but didn?t even remake the fries.
