Recently must have been bought out, or is otherwise under new management. The menu and atmosphere have changed significantly,... and the food no longer tastes as good as it was. Food was incredibly flavorful. We weren't in a hurry and didn't mind the wait for service and our food. When served I thought it... was odd to not get any salsa or sauce etc......the food was flavorful and juicy enough to not need any. Brought home half aburrito that I couldn't finisho for later.....had it with salsa at home and wow, even better!! Will definitely visit again whenwe come back next year! Read more
Had the mamas burrito and a Moscow mule. Awesome food and drinks. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be... back here again. If you are in Whitefish and looking for somewhere to eat that is a bit different from your norm, this is theplace to go. Read more
I like this place. But in recent times it has lost some of its charisma. The other night we went with some of our friends and... had to get our own menus. Then we waited for a full hour for our food. Then what had been my favorite order (a wet burrito) hadchanged from a tortilla filled with meat to one filled with salad and a few pieces of meat. Worse yet, it had some kind ofvinegar dressing in it. (Gross!) I have gotten better burritos from catering trucks. To top it off, my daughter got very sickright after we left. Not sure why. To be fair, they still have a delicious tres leches cake! The fact is, we'll probably give itanother try. I just hope our next experience is nothing like our last one. Once bitten, twice shy. The food and ambiance was great. The guacamole was really yummy. If you like garlic, you will like it as well. There is a bit... more garlic than most guacs but I like it that way. Oh. the chips were fantastico! Fresh and crispy. The shrimp ceviche wastasteless. It seemed watered down. Don't bother ordering it! The chicken burrito was over the top delicious. Definitelysomething I would order again and again. The service was a bit slow and it will be blamed on Covid = labor shortage. So bepatient. Read more
Mama Blanca's located in the heart of Whitefish MT. Lots of parking spot and the location is very accessible. The ambiance is... very chill and everyone were welcoming and friendly. We ordered the burger, mama's burrito, quesadilla and nuevos rancheros, theplating were very pleasant and of course, they were all delicious. They also have complimentary chips and salsa that were reallygood. Would highly recommend to everyone visiting in Whitefish! Read more
Oh my Gosh!!!! Sooo glad we bailed on the other two restaurants because this place is amazing!!! The service is fantastic, and... the food mouth watering yumminess. Okay, the menu options are perfect selection, the food cooked to perfection. The salsa was alittle more tomatoey than I generally like but still addictive. The chips were perfect compliment. Would have liked to try theguacamole ad that is a favorite. But we ate dessert first. The banana split was good but definitely get the tres Leche! The mostauthentic and best we have had in years!! The pollo sandwich tender, juicy and for the seriously hungry. Loved the street cornbut I do like mine cooked a little less. The only real disappointment was the mama margaritas. I am used to a little less sour,being able to taste the gran Marnier and this just left me disappointmed. I didn't even finish it for the $10 it cost. Read more
Food was served lukewarm at best. Drinks were nice and strong. Sign warned that they charge 3.5% fee for using credit cards. We... paid with debit card and still got charged the fee. $32 each for burrito and margarita. We will return and we are excited forthem to do better ???? Read more
