The outside looks like a cabin. Good looking modern, high ceilings on the inside. Very uplifting modern feeling inside. Very... clean. Friendly welcoming staff. Good atmosphere. Service was good. The apple cider was very good. Not sweet, just right.Exactly what I want in apple cider. The food was well prepared and fresh. Very clean fresh ingredients. The style of cooking isnot to my liking. My wife used the word fusion. I assume it means many different ingredients that you traditionally would nothave combined. For example fish on pasta with feta and olives. The pasta was more like risotto but better. Large rice stylepasta. I thought the pasta was good enough for me to cook this style of pasta on my own. The combination was light, almost saladlike and pleasant enough but was not exactly to my taste. I guess I would have preferred a more traditional cooking style oreven Louisiana cooking style. My wife said her fish, different main course, was very unusual in its taste. Then the prices arehigh at $29 US for the fish with pasta. Moderately small portion. It is a modern cooking style that I also find often goes witha higher price tag. This may well be what you prefer so I want my review to inform you but not put you off going. Read more
We had the oysters on the half and mussels and grill shrimp all fantastic. The waitress and waiter were extremely... accommodating, one of us has food allergies so they made an extra effort with menu items. Very impressive with them Read more
We ate at the restaurant 2 out of 3 nights in Whitefish. Loved the oyster selection as well as the yellowtail appetizer. Loved... the flavor and spice of the seafood Thai and Butter Chicken dinners. Best gelato that we've had all over the country. Greatservice too. Read more

The food is good, staff friendly, but the service isn?t the best. We ate at Stillwater twice last week and the food was tasty... but honestly it was warm at best. I wouldn?t recommend Stillwater based on the service. For the prices they charge, the serviceshould be better Jerry Lukey Read more
