Great people and vibe! What intrigued me about the Wich Haus prior to visiting was in reading the menu, all of the flavor... combos, while "elevated", made sense and were thoughtful. The execution of everything we tried, with the exception of 1 itemwas all excellent. Pictured is the chicken sandwich and beet salad but don't skip any of the salads, all were unique anddelicious. First time in beautiful Whitefish MT and this was on my list to visit. So glad I did! I got the ZLT and it was amazing! Huge... sandwich with so many flavors and the zucchini bacon was insane. We spent 10 days in Montana, and this was the best restaurant we ate at, by far. It?s a smaller place, so I recommend dining at... odd hours to ensure you get a table. The staff is so friendly and the food is absolutely incredible. We ate at a picnic table intheir cute garden setting, and our amazing waitress Riley was so helpful and gave us a bunch of hiking way points. The friedchicken sandwich is one of the best I?ve ever had. Their baked goods are outstanding, and they have a variety of beverage andcraft beer options. Fantastic sandwiches! One of a kind. All the ingredients are made in house, or local, from the bread to the veggies to the... sauces. We tried the breaded celery root burger with candy lemon and the baby asparagus sandwich with tarragon and mint. Therewas a handful of fresh herbs in each sandwich. Everyone waiting in line finds themselves becoming ravingfans as the excitement builds just looking at the menu options. Be prepared for meats thoughtfully crafted by professionals. Youwill not an cannot conceive of any type of traditional meat combination or preparedness prior to gazing at the menu. The staffis helpful and a delight. In fact, the Mother to the owners was there as she happily greets the guests and seemingly doeswhatever needs to be done with fervor and grace. The whole operations works inside what appears to be a converted residentialhome into a charming lunch destination not to be missed. I went with friends and everyone adored their food. Nothing left, noteven a crumb. The fresh baked carrot cake dessert was served warm and disappeared in seconds. There was a chocolate cookie thatcame and went that was chewy, subtly crunchy, soft in the middle and deliciously unique throughout. You need to go and makethis a mandatory destination. Creative, delicious, well executed. I wasn't expecting it to be so good but it really was fantastic. The food quality wouldn't... be out of place as an expensive super hip place in any metropolitan area. They make everything from scratch, and it's fantastic.I ate here 3 times and was only in the area 6 days, it's that good. If they have the smoked beet salad, get it. Our best meal so far in Montana and some of the best sandwiches we've ever had. We ate the roast beef and smoked chicken. Both... were great (chicken was better). Everyone there was very nice with helping to choose what to eat. They also had a nice beerselection. We had met Jonas the day before and it was nice to see him at work. The sandwiches are big and might make for a biglunch, but don't worry about going to a sandwich shop for dinner because you won't be disappointed. Read more
My spouse and I stopped randomly during our bike ride for lunch. Both the soup and sandwich were great and more than we... expected. We were there during a book release. We want to commend the restaurant for being willing to host an event like this.It was so good to see a local business embrace a young author's dream of being published.
