We arrived after 6pm on a Saturday without a reservation. We were seated right away. The cocktails were delicious and not as... skimpy on the alcohol as some other $14 cocktails. The calamari came with a nice spicy dipping sauce. I got the special for theday, a ribeye puttenesca. The steak was cooked to order and the vegetable mix was so flavorful. We ended our evening withtiramisu and caramel gelato, both of which were individually exquisite but together amazing. We will be returning for morecocktails and to try some pizzas. Read more

Summary: Would not go here again. Have had better frozen pizzas. My spouse and I ordered the antipasto salad and a House... Special pizza to share. The salad was a ramekin full of olives, feta, pepperoncini, pepperoni, and other very salty thingsmixed together. It was inedibly salty. The plate also included a pile of arugula and what looked like strips of grilled bread. It looked like hot, crispy bread, but despite having grill marks, it was room-temperature and flexible and stale. I don't knowwhen they grilled it and what had been done to it since, but it was also inedible. The pizza had shockingly few toppings on it: about 4 banana pepper rings and about 2 slices of prosciutto torn into smaller pieces. Most bites I was eating cheese pizza. But the worst part was the crust--extremely thick (0.75") and quite undercooked with an artificial taste like frozen pizza orPizza Hut and no yeasty smell. Are you buying this instead of making it??? I'm usually a person who eats other people'scrusts, but this pizza was gross and $22. Read more

Excellent!! Nice quaint spot for dining. Beautiful patio that was surprisingly quiet seeing that it is next to a busy street. We... had pasta, but the pizza that was coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We will definitely be back to try that. The tiramisuwas probably the best I have had. Read more

Nice new independent addition to the north shore. Have only been there once thus far. Hand tossed pizza was excellent. Had... perfect blend of cheeses and seasoning, and nice texture to crust - neither heavy nor flaky. Not overloaded with cheese orsalt. Caesar salad was good - also not excessively salty. Garlic bread is served as a small loaf with divisions on the top. Wasgreat for passing around. Garlic and butter were added sufficiently, but not excessively. My brother in law had the cauliflowercrust gluten free pizza and called it the only good cauliflower crust that he’s had. They aren’t yet offering their fullmenu, just salads, a few appetizers, pizza, desserts, and drinks. Unique decor and styling - a blend of retro looks. Nice bararea. Overall, the atmosphere is casual and designed for socializing. There are no TVs. Prices are a little higher than othercasual sit-down restaurants in the area, but are appropriate considering the unique options and quality of cuisine. Update: Iwent back for the first time since the menu was expanded. The pizza and their unique take on garlic bread is still excellent, aswas the fettuccine entree. I’ve increased my rating from 4 stars to 5, considering this the be the best Italian restaurantI’ve been to in the north shore. Read more

We have dined here in the past many times. We had a reservation for a special celebration at their outside dining location. I... made the reservation online, called and left a voicemail to have the reservation confirmed with a callback. An employee calledme back and confirmed my party of seven would have a table outside. Fantastic! 20 minutes before we leave for dinner, Ireceived a phone call that my reservation was canceled. Evidently, they assumed finding a table for a larger group on a Saturdaynight during the 4th of July weekend weekend was an easy thing to do. You see, you know how to *take* the reservation, you justdon't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody canjust take them. I called back later to talk to The manager. The phone rang and rang. I attempted to call three times. I left avoicemail. Nobody returned my call. ******** UPDATE - 7/5/22 The owner of the restaurant called me today. Very humble andapologetic about the internal miscommunication. I was thankful that she contacted me and that my concern wasn't swept under therug. She showed a lot of Moxie to keep a long term customer. ;-) Read more

We started with eggplant fries-so good!! And they serve it with not only marinara sauce buy also a delicious lemon aioli. That... lemon aioli is SO delish!!!! My wife had the special -Rosemary roasted chicken on a bed of parmesan risotto and I had thechicken Alfredo. The risotto was so good! And my Alfredo was just what I was craving - moist, tender chicken in a delicateAlfredo sauce. Haley, our server, was professional, personable and prompt - she was a great server!!! This was our first time atTrouble & Sons but it won't be our last!!! Read more

Great food, mediocre service and subpar ambiance. We made reservations for two well in advance and got put in the far back, last... table, of the restaurant. It was a small space where you could barely hear the music and I had car lights in my face the wholetime from people picking up to go orders out back. Service, although super polite, was extremely slow. The food is what madethe evening worthwhile. We started things off with the Shrimp Napoli and it was the best shrimp I've ever had, no joke. Forentrees we had the Butternut Squash Ravioli and Chicken Parmesan, both fantastic. We also got a Douple Trouple Pizza to gobecause they are a Pizzeria after all and thought it was just okay. Would definitely recommend this place for the food andwould request to sit out in the main dining area for the full experience. Read more
