I was in town last week and was able to stop by on a Saturday just after opening. I was welcomed warmly and the crabs were... awesome. Full of meat and good mustard. Being from Virginia but transplanted in Colorado 5 years I hadn't had blue crabs foraround a decade. I was able to sit at one of their picnic tables and enjoyed the sunshine and amazing crabs. We purchased a bushel of large #1 steamed crabs and they were amazing. They were heavy and full with great seasoning. We also... got a peck of oysters, the first of the season, they were unbelievable! I ordered them in the morning and asked for a afternoonpickup time, they were on time hot and ready. This is the best place to get steamed crabs i have been to. I just wished they were open all the time. The staff treats you like... family that makes you want to come back. The prices are great. The taste of the crabs are perfect. I have not gotten a bad bunchfrom them yet. I have been going there for over a year once a week and have only gotten a few light crabs. The shrimp is greattoo. I m baffled on how this place has so many good reviews. Today I Got a half a bushel of mixed females for 85 dollars and the... crabs were the smallest I had ever had (or seen)most measured 4 1/2 inches but a bout a dozen were 4inches point to point andall of them were VERY light in weight. There were 37 crabs in total and as soon as I figure how to add the pics I took you cansee for yourself. The spice they used did taste good but I feel like I either got the leftovers that usually don?t sell orpeople In this area that get crabs don?t know any better. Read more
