Came to this establishment with my children and and my mom. I had 3 chicken dinner, with 3 mac, green beans, mashed potatoes,... corn & extra side of spinach, a salad and a slice of cornbread My mom had loaded potatoes, mushroom n gravy Salisbury steak,?fresh squeezed? lemonade chocolate cake, and I?m not sure what my nephew had. The customer service was very nice, but ourdinner was horrible. The chicken was way too salty, the green beans was not seasoned and the corn seemed as if it was in thesteamer since morning. The hulls were swollen and there was no flavor. The macaroni was stiff and gummy with minimal flavor. Mymoms Salisbury steak gravy was chalky and the protein was flavorless and kinda tough. I wanted to tell the manager but my mominsisted I not say anything so felt it important to write a review. Now I will say, the cornbread, and spinach was phenomenal! To top of the experience of undesirable food, a customer approached me about my children (ages 1,3,4) making noise in the diningarea and even stepped in face and threatened to physically assault me; the manager sent a young girl from the staff over toaddress the situation and she approached the offender instead of me. My whole experience was very disappointing here and Idon?t believe I will ever return to this location. I wasted my money and time and apparently the manager who was on duty didn?tthink enough of the establishment to at least intercept with his male presence to try and diffuse the situation. He sent a childand although she was kind, her presence didn?t make a difference to the aggressor. Read more

My family and I have been dining here for YEARS. Even though the prices have gone up (as they have everywhere), I believe it?s... still a good value and the food tastes like good ol home style cooking! My mom loves the fried chicken and fresh fruit and pies. The people behind the counter were very patient while I read out all of... her side dish options twice ???? and was not trying to be rude but was on my cell phone they were all so sweet. My fatherpassed away two weeks ago and I wanted to make sure she had a balanced meal she would actually eat because he was her world andlater this month they would have been married 50 years. Thank you for your patience and allowing her to pick what she wanted. Ifelt embarrassed for being on my phone but everyone was caring and never made me feel bad about it ???? I didn't even tell themthey were just amazing without having to. The next time I come i will order ahead online it was 7:30pm and I knew you were aboutto close. I called in for a take out order. They had a special for Father's Day, prime rib. I ordered that. It was reasonably priced in... comparison to other restaurants, while at the same time had the quality of those other restaurants. The food was ready when Igot there, and was still warm when I got home. As always, the food was delicious. The only negative was that I thought theportions of the side dishes were smaller than if I had eaten inside the restaurant. Read more
Hi I normally visit about 3 times a week but here lately someone has decided to change up on the menu! Hmmm spaghetti use to be... 2or 3 times a week! Well not no more! It comes when ever they decide to make it! Pot pies would be nice more then once whenever. They had lasagna about 2 months ago and we haven't seen it back since. It use to be that I knew when the spaghetti withmeat sauce and turkey and dressing would be on the menu but again someone decided to put it on whenever!! I call almost everyday and see what's on the menu and be disappointed ohhhh and I can't forget about the yummy Chicken and Noodles! Yall probablywonder why I gave high ratings? Yall do a great job I'm just complaining about something that we miss eating! Myself and 2 otherladies are a little disappointed ohhh and by the way the facility stays pretty clean! The young crew some of them can be a bitrude but I have seen lots of improvement! Management can be a bit rude to there employees and customers but not real bad becausethey try to clean it up in a nice way! There are 2 people there that are so the pleasant one is Ms. Joanie and I forget what theother young girl name is! I can't remember what her name is or her nationality but they are the sweetest ever and greatcustomer service. I guess this is it for now!
