Always love Dairy Queen ice cream!! And I was so happy that they actually served me my blizzard upside down like they're... supposed to!! It may sound silly but it's a little upsetting when some don't do that! Read more

After a LONG hiatus, Dairy Queen is back in Whitehorse. I still prefer the old one downtown.

I am not one to leave a bad review, but today I am an oftly disappointed customer. The burger I ordered was advertised at $9.19... but on the ordering screen I paid $10.19, only to recieve an incorrect cheaper burger. The prices are wrong for other thingsordered aswell (advertised at a lower cost and rung through at a higher cost, when asked the employee they just stated "IDKthat's what it rung up as when I hit the button.") Also disappointed to recieve the wrong blizzard. Read more

Good Blizzard, decent service. Would have given 5 stars, but there is no accessible entrance. We were with someone in a power... chair who could not get into the restaurant without help because there are no power doors. Bad form for a brand new business, don't you think? Read more

The hottest chilling place in town now. The newly opened DQ is what everyone is talking about! The Google map pin is pretty off... target for some reason. It?s closer to the Chevrolet than to the correctional center. We were in the drive-through line behindtwo trucks with Northwest license plates. Not sure they were here for business or simply drove to Whitehorse just to have ataste of DQ. Either way, the place was packed and we were lucky to get a parking spot and gave up waiting for standstill drivethrough lineup. The store manager was running the floor in and out of the back counter doing everything that could help therush hour. The staff was nervous, understandably, basically tried really hard not missing any step. First the meal, then whatkind of side and drink and dips and dessert. Played by the book, which was very well-trained. A bit robotic but I?m sure theywill get better at it within weeks. As for the burgers, fries and chicken strips, well? they tasted satisfying, nothing crazyexciting, nothing to complain about. I didn?t finish my burger though, as I bit on a coal-like burnt meat that got stuck inbetween of two patties. I knew it was caused by overwhelmed rush hour, but thought I pointed it out. Overall, my kid was nothappy finding out I went there during her school hour and demanded a go tomorrow. We will be a regular. Oh, almost forgot. DQain?t about their burgers or fries or any of those. It?s about their sweets! Damn, that Reese Blizzard really hit the spot! Read more
