We went on a Saturday night and they got us seated right away. The server had the drinks there in a snap and took our order... quickly. The food came out quick too! My husband had the wings and they were great! Very yummy sweet potato fries and cinnamonbutter. My beef sandwich had flavor straight from heaven. My only complaint is the au jus sauce was poured right on the sandwichand the bottom part of the bun was very very soggy. Read more

We used to truly love Local Thyme, and were here to eat at least once a week back in 2018-2019. We moved to the area and this... was a quick favorite for us. Unfortunately our last several visits haven?t been great. While the food has been okay, we?ve hadmore frequent instances of things being overcooked or our favorite items being out or removed from the menu. Tonight (aSaturday) we arrived around 8:40 pm and the hostess told us that they would not be seating anyone else for the remainder of thenight because the kitchen would be closing early. We were bummed as this was our first time back after they were closed forremodeling. The hostess was polite but not even 9 pm on a Saturday and you?re no longer seating, when they are supposed to beopen until midnight? We were willing to wait too - especially given there is not much else in a reasonable distance open past 9.Then, I was scrolling their social media wondering if they had posted & updated about this and came across some comments fromthe owner about how it?s ?hard to compete with free money from the government? and no one will show up to work. So bummed to seethat as I thought the owner was a reasonable guy, but I can?t support a business that wants to blame everyone but themselves forlack of staff. We stopped here on our way through Ohio hone to Pittsburgh. What should have been an hour sit down dinner turned to over two... hours. We got drinks in a timely manner, and then ordered an appetizer and 2 burgers. We got our appetizer and then sat forabout 30-35 minutes with no food. Other tables around us had ordered after us and got their food already. The waitress finallycame over and stated that there was an issue with their computer and the kitchen never got our food ticket until right beforeshe came out. They are working on making it as fast as possible. I was confused how the kitchen got out appetizer and not ourfood order with it all being ordered at the same time. We really loved the place. It has a nice atmosphere and the servers were all friendly and fast. I ordered the HUGE pretzel for... dinner. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo. He cleaned his plate????so it must have been good. My pretzel was delicious andobviously very much meant for sharing. It came with 4 dips : Ground mustard =good Cinnamon butter=good Cream cheese= ok? I'dhave like to see it flavored like chive or garlic or??? Kinda bland by itself as a dip. Beer cheese=Not good at all. Normallybeer cheese is my favorite. This was grainy & flavorless. Cool little spot! Great bloody mary! All of our food was amazing! I got wings, mom got the perch and hubby got ribs.. everything... tasted super fresh and delicious ????!
