Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon on our way home from apple picking for a quick drink. The bartender was great, super... friendly, fast service. They have a lot of specialty drinks that only they make, and a great beer selection. Everything I triedwas very good, even the other patrons at the bar were friendly, it kinda reminded me of Cheers! We've eaten at The Rail several times before, whenever we're shopping in NJ or returning home from excursions elsewhere. The... food is always excellent (the crab cakes are a plus) and the staff are just superb. This past Saturday, 9/3 was our weddinganniversary, so we ate there, a fitting end to a two-day trip. We ate in the patio, across from the NJ transit station. Our dogwas w/us (it was too warm to leave him in the car alone) and Michelle brought him a bowl of water, then later, some chickentenders. He enjoyed them. Katie took our orders and the food arrived, as usual, hot and tasty. They both loved our little guyand showered him with much attention. Fun drinking place, comfort foods, only had a large pretzel which was tasty and fresh. Great service, bartenders and servers.... Friendly workers. Live music, great band. Lots of tvs to watch games. Read more
Great place for a Sunday lunch. Staff was excellent and accommodated my dietary restrictions. Our server, Jen, was awesome, even... though they were short-staffed. Hubby had the Rail Burger and loved it. I had the Crab Cake Entree and it was fabulous!Definitely coming back more often. Read more
