We love the beer/ciders but found the food to be lackluster the past few years. We saw the menu had changed a little online and... decided to give it another try tonight! The food was MUCH better this time! We started with the Mexican corn flat bread and itwas great! The spicy minestrone was DELICIOUS and the smoked peach salad was so good! Good beer, great environment and service but food was average - I had brisket with mac n cheese and it wasn?t very good... particularly for the price. However, my friends cheeseburger looked and tasted great. I would still come back and try somethingelse. Read more
Beer was the only thing worth visiting for, the Mediocre food is overpriced. My burger was over cooked and had absolutely no... seasoning, no condiments or pickles on the burger. I asked for salt and pepper and J.J. the bartender gave me to go S&Ppackets.. Really?! No salt and pepper shakers? Also the mac and cheese was very bland, it tasted like it came from the boxseriously. Sad to say, first and last time I'll be visiting this place. Read more
This is such a cool spot for a brewery to set up in. Being in an old school really adds a lot of character and makes for a... unique dining experience. Their beer selection is good, with a great selection of seasonal offerings and a great hazy IPA lineup. Food is also wonderful, and I highly recommend getting the brisket. I especially liked the fact that they serve their BBQwith a selection of four different sauces. Very cool! Service was friendly and our food arrived quickly as well. Wow! What a find! Took a little detour on a road trip and stopped here for lunch and a beer. Great spaces inside and out.... Wonderful service and solid beer selection. I had the moonlite. I did the ribs with Mac n cheese. Both were delicious. Wishedthis place we're in my hometown. Well done Moontown! Read more
Scoot-n down I-65 headed south and we decided to swing by its about 12min off the highway Very nice place, my beer was a top of... the line great flavor Coffee chocolate coconut porter( best drank nice and cold it got alittle bitter as it warmed up) Servicewas perfect, atmosphere was very clean. I only ate the pretzel but it was very good and the beer cheese was top-notch. The menuhad a lot of smoked dishes on it. If your a gluten free person this would be a difficult menu and if you?re a rabbit the saladslook good, So my girl watched me eat my pretzels as she drank her outsourced cider that was very good in itself. Pros: The food was prepared quickly for our carry out and hot and ready when we picked it up. The quality of the meat was... fantastic (chicken/pulled pork). ???? ???? The fries were oversalted but otherwise good. ???? Cons: The chicken parm wasalmost inedible (pictured). The breading and bread were complete mush with no crispness from the breading. Also the bun was toolarge. The BBQ sauce had an overwhelming flavor of curry powder. Maybe it was supposed to be a subtle secret ingredient? Weboth tried it and did not like it. ???? Opinion: There is a lot of potential here with great ingredients and location. We willbe trying here again with other dishes and updating our review as necessary.
