Eat there! We almost ordered lunch again it was so good. Ended up just getting a pound of BBQ to go.
First and last visit. Got the dinner for two, ribs, chicken and bbq (The chicken for two was one breast and one wing). Food was... mediocre at best. The plate had no visual appeal...looked liked a giant brown glob on a plate. Don't know how anyone couldconsider the BBQ or ribs good ???? Chef Ramsey would have spit all of it out. Don?t understand the ratings. Maybe this is the best BBQ in NC and you never had BBQ anywhere else but this is rubbish. Decided... to eat here because I?m a truck driver and this place was right next to my delivery. Well first off the staff is rude as hell.Gave the old lady my card and she threw it on the counter to give it back. The food came out in 5 minutes not even hot. What isthis fast food BBQ? No sauce at all, apparently all they have is ketchup and hot sauce? On top of all that the taste is trash. Iwill admit it is cheap for BBQ but I understand why. Sometimes you get what you pay for. This is not a buffet, order from menu only. Good barbecue, moist and flavorful. Wish they had a variety of sauces to choose... from, but they didn't. Waitresses were friendly and fast, you won't run out of sweet tea. A little off US 74 AND BEHIND Lowe'sHome Improvement. Read more
Honestly I enjoyed everything here bit the potato salad. That was just not it i suggest using red potatoes light on the... mustard. Everything else wass perfect. Ribs perfect, chicken fingers, fried chicken, hush puppies, fried okra, Fish nuggets allperfect. I highly suggest fish nuggets. And my 4 year old enjoyed his chicken it was totally delicious ???? Very good southern style cooking buffet. The servers were friendly and generous with tea refills. There was ample choices on... the buffet, but limited to pork chops, fried chicken, and 2 types of sausage. I would have liked to order some bbq extra, butno more room..too full! Do not get a rib Plate if your hungry. A large plate only has 4 ribs. No sauce nor was any offered. The onion rings are straight... out of a bag from a freezer. Just awful. Not impressed with meal at all, coleslaw and hush puppies were not included consideredyour sides? Portions were so small I went to get food after i left there was still hungry.
