I rarely post Google reviews but I just had the worst bar experience ever. Came here with some friends for a relaxing night and... a few drinks after a day teaching at UWW. Debbie (owner) was there, and very drunk. She sat at our table and chatted us up, nobig deal. Then she started criticizing us for the things we were saying, physically poking us and cursing. When I politely askedher if we could hang out by ourselves, she became extremely profane and aggressive. We left with half our drinks finished. Thebartender was great, though... I don't think this place has been cleaned in years. You can feel the grease and smoke that clings to the walls. And service is... hit or miss - sometimes, its a student that'll offer perfectly adequate service in lieu of speed, and sometimes its senioremployees that play nice only on their good days. A grumpy older woman handed over my food and then demanded that I use thealmost-empty ketchup bottle before opening the newer one, which is ... fine, I get it. But not a shining star ofhospitality. As far as the food goes, it's pretty good. The burgers are satisfying, and most of the appetizers are adequatedespite obviously being straight from the freezer. The jalapeno poppers in particular don't taste like much at all. Read more
I used to love this place when Salvo owned it. I visited last evening in the middle of a motorcycle ride with a friend and we... decided to get a burger for old times sake. Well, long story short. I have been up since 4am making frequent trips to the toiletand have subsequently threw up. He has been having the same issues. Dank fries are still good but, unfortunately, last night wasthe last time I will ever eat them as I will never return. Read more
The employees were rude and the food was just plain. The cook was so unprofessional and just plain rude, telling us his shift is... ending as if we cared when he wanted us to hurry and grab our food. The burgers weren?t impressive. Pretty sure the water wasthe only thing that was good. Read more
Yummy ranch fries and chicken strips. The service is fine during the week, but I've found that during the college year it's... usually understaffed after 9pm. Definitely a good lunch spot though. Did we eat here solely because of the name? 100% The food was delicious! I just wanted a good bar burger & this place... delivered. Service was great as well. I would definitely stop back by again if we were in the area. Love that it is a womanowned business. Read more
