This restaurant had excellent pork chops and a beautiful view of the Whitmore Lake. The pork chops were moist and had a... fantastic flavor to them. My husband and I were traveling North to Petoskey, Michigan and just happen to see this restaurant onthe Google maps and it is one place that we will be putting on our list of great places to eat when we are in the area. I have never had a bad experience! Such a good place to go with friends and have good food! We went tonight with many friends... and we all had a good time! The food was good and the staff was nice like always! Bathrooms were very clean and so was the floorthought out the place! I had fish and chips, very good maybe a little dry but that was fixed with sauce! I will definitely goagain! Also perfect spot for our boat on the coat with well maintained grass! Read more
3 stars mostly for the view from the patio seating. Meat here is terrible. Sirloin steak was not cooked properly and had very... gamy smell. Pizza was decent. Corn beef Ruben sucked!! Potato skins and Nachos were good. Prices are on the higher side. Try itfor yourself. Read more
A great neighborhood tavern with good food and friendly service. A classic menu that is sure to please everyone. They have a... great bar area with a good selection of beer. A really big screen TV too! There's a little outdoor seating area and the maindining room both have a great view of the lake. Which is worth visiting for alone but the food will keep you coming back! Our meal consisted of the a bowl of loaded potato soup, side Caesar salad, and we split a /12 lb. cheeseburger with fries.... Total bill was a bit over $31 bucks. So $12 burger +$1 for cheese +$4 dollars for fries equals a $17 cheeseburger platter.Next the $7 dollar Caesar salad that was very small with bottled dressing croutons and parm cheese was just okay at best. Thesoup was just okay as well. The rub was the fact that the burger was nowhere near 1/2 lb. We ordered it medium and it came outRARE as can be. They cut it in half and served it on 2 plates, very thoughtful but still too rare for my wife to eat. After itwas dropped off the waitress did not return for 10-12 minutes to ask how everything was. When I told her my wife could not eather burger (lunch) she asked if we would like it cooked to a better temp. We said no (because it had been sitting for 10-12minutes) and she said okay will that be all today. I don't like to give 2 star reviews and my google reviews prove this. Iexpected a lot better for a $13 dollar burger. Funny the service started off nice but ended poorly, and it was not crowded on aSaturday at 2pm. Read more
