I'm typically very kind in my reviews, and this is no exception. Great selection of items, and great value! If you are in to... roadside establishments, then this place will suit you well! No dining in, but there is takeout and outdoor seating. Weordered pulled pork sandwiches (one without the bun), salt potatoes and mac and cheese as sides. The young lady who took ourorder actually brought the food out to us (only about 4 or 5 customers there at the time), and was very cordial during the orderand delivery. I generally believe that during busy hours you would have to approach the counter to retrieve your order. Foodwas delicious! Pork was prepared well, salt potatoes are hard to screw up, and mac and cheese was good. Value? In today'sworld, it's hard to find "cheap" meals, but I would say that Steve's provides an awesome value for the excellent quality offood that we were served. SO good! We had 4 full dinners with drinks for about $60. I had the Angry Bird sandwich. Just spicy enough and HUGE. Made it a... meal with coleslaw, fries and cornbread. DELICIOUS and so much more than I could eat. Read more
Stopped by Steve's Backyard BBQ while passing by on 81 N. I had ordered the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and potato... salad. The food was delicious! Decided to stop by while returning from my trip and had picked up a 1/2 of ribs and 1/2 smokedchicken with two large orders of mac and cheese and potato salad. They had even treated my dog to a good side portion of smokedturkey and brisket pieces on the house! We will be stopping by whenever in the area, and I suggest that you do the same. Read more
The food was super good and the folks were very the barbecue is way better than my usual spots around the country when I got... home we ate dinner and left some out on the table after letting the dogs try some they jumped up on the table and did acrobaticmoves to get the leftovers!! can't wait to get back and buy some more when I get back to New York!! Really great brisket, pulled pork, cornbread and mac and cheese. It was raining and they brought the food out to my car for me:)
