I have given up on this place and today my husband forgot and he went in to get the overpriced family meal , when he asked for a... single burger to be plain guess was too much to understand when he ended up getting home since it was on his way. We seen thatall burgers were plain. I get in the car since he was upset and what they do is pretend it's ok meanwhile the drive thru womanacted like I made the mistake they just threw in the veggies into the now cold burger not even putting it back on the flat top,less remaking them. The only think they gave me fresh was the fries and even those seemed refried, I'm pretty sure since I'veworked in kitchen it's not only unethical but unsanitary , by the way we all got sick from eating at this place the service istrash the food is trash and rather throw my money in the trash than give it here . Oh you ask why I stopped going to begin with.It's because one of my dear friends was almost assaulted by an employee for guess what. Making a mistake.. doublz where yougotta go back twice and might take home an food born Illness or a black eye. You made it fresh?!? On 09-26-2022, Post Mates driver delivered the wrong order ; & driver said ? We are not supposed to check your order , before... leaving the Restaurant ?. I spoke with Manager Tony Delgado ; & within less than 20 minutes he , personally , delivered ourcorrect order to our home. Excellent Customer Service is what Manager Tony Delgado delivers !! This place went from one of the best family burger joints to a run down dog food establishment. Most noticeable is the chilli... cheese fries, once a staple to the doublz empire, it is now a shell of what it used to be. Cheaper quality and quantity. I onceused to be greatly satisfied with just the large chili cheese fries, now it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I probably wont bereturning. Read more
Seems like it was better when I was a kid but still a great solid burger joint. The chili cheese fries always hit great. I'm... bummed they don't have fried mushrooms anymore. And the tuna melt is better at the Montebello location. Read more
Hoping it wasn't beginners luck but my first time eating here was a satisfying experience. Prices are a tad above average but... the food is prepared in a content and professional manner. Upon entry, one quickly see the crew hard at work preparing food forcustomers. They don't play around or waste any time. The kitchen is directly behind the counter so everything can be seen. Themenu is quite extensive for a small eatery. It was morning so I ordered a bacon and eggs breakfast with hashbrowns. The baconwas thick and tasty, 3 eggs, and great hashbrowns with a surprisingly different texture. The only fault was a large lukewarmcoffee. I will return to try different items. Only through the drive-thru window. Food is amazing with huge portions. Best chicken salad...go for the large, price difference... is minimal. Best French fries, French toast platter and burgers, burritos. More expensive but its well worth it. I alsorecommend the El Monte location i go there all the time since its near my work. Read more
