The flavors were good, yes. I'll give it to them buuuuut there was a live bug on the tacos in the picture. I had them redone but... still got charged full price. Service could be better. And it's kinda overpriced. Read more

What can I say about this place? It's so delicious and never disappoints every time my husband and I come here. The waitresses... and the waiters are always nice. The food here is always so yummy. There's so much stuff I still want to try but it's just Ilike the usual stuff that I order and the same thing with my husband. I love to Smack n' Cheeze with the "chicken" oh my Godthat's so good and my husband loves the Smoked n' Loaded burger and he loves the salad that comes with the burgers. They havesome good organic lemonade. Me and my husband are never disappointed it's always good. The service is always good and the lasttime I was here was the 9th of this month (August) that was my birthday and everything was delicious. You won't be disappointedand just if there's bad reviews, those type of people probably want their food like in 2 minutes you know just ignore the badreviews because this place is not bad whatsoever. Also I have anxiety so this place does not give me anxiety whatsoever. Evenwhen it is crowded it's just a very calm place. My husband suggested taking me here for my birthday because I didn't know whereelse to eat. He knew that I wasn't going to be disappointed, he knew that the food is great, he knows that the service is greatand he knew I wouldn't get anxious. Delicious hip plant based restaurant serving tasty vegan options of comfort food. Been here multiple times and it?s been... reliable. Just a short walk to the Starlight cinemas on Greenleaf in Whittier. What I really enjoyed were the Jackfruit nachos,fried avocado tacos, fried oyster mushroom tacos, salad bowl. I wasn?t overly thrilled with the alfredo pasta since it was hypedup as a very popular dish but it was just okay. Great spot to stop by for a pre or post movie night! Read more

I am not a vegan. Modern Shaman can definitely change my choice of eating habits. I ordered the nachos, excellent, will... certainly order again and again. My daughter ordered the Alchemy Salad, another excellent choice. We had the seasoned friedchickpeas as an appetizer. Warm and crunchy, deelish! Since I live very close this is one dish I would undoubtedly pick up for asnack. In my opinion I like better than popcorn. ???? Our server was very cordial and attentive. The wait time between orderingand receiving our meal was not long. It was a Sunday evening and not busy. A must try eatery....at least once. Read more
