Dalton understands the unique Whittier crowd and is determined to make your experience unforgettable! It's just been reopened toshowcase both an upscale sporty bar for the casual and a romantic restaurant. Both separated by a sliding glass door, but offernow, 2 different experiences. Wonderful, small venue, great service and very good food. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Passing this establishment would be doing your tastebuds a disservice. The food here is always on point and it has only gone... from great to greater with the addition of Chef Dalton. Michael, the owner, is always a great conversation and adds apersonality that is often missing from fine dining. All the dishes here are made fresh and to order. I highly recommend youtry the meatballs or the pepper crusted steak. Not in the mood for dinner... no problem... the bar tenders know how to make amean Old Fashioned and the wine selection is great. A great place to relax with some friends and share a fresh made pizza orcharcuterie board. Honestly this place accents and brings Uptown Whittier up to a standard that has long been missing. DO NOT EAT HERE - the owner of this restaurant is a maniac. My grandfather accidentally parked in his parking spot, realized... his mistake, then was about to leave when the owner pulled in behind him and started cursing him out for a small, easilyrectifiable mistake. He left my grandfather outside, and when we got inside the restaurant the owner started screaming again,almost starting a bar fight in his own restaurant. A very helpful Whittier city councilman helped resolve the situation andcalm the owner. In the end, the cops had to get involved. This guy is a lunatic, trying to start fights like some kind ofkindergartener. He does not deserve your patronage. Read more
