Great atmosphere but foods come slow. It took 45 minute for two appetizers, one of them went wrong. It is now one hour and a... half passed at this point of writing. Didnt think of this long duration of dinner. If you have plenty of time to desperatelykill, this is the place. Foods taste okay, they are edible but no characters. Read more

A group of coworkers were brought here by a prospective contractor while visiting their factory. I was a little nervous when I... realized that it was basically sharing a building with a few small law offices and the like. But I was wrong. The patio sectionwe sat in was incredibly comfortable and foot traffic was directed away from diners. This might be more of an issue atlunchtime, but I can't speak to that. Despite looking a little cramped, the patio is cleverly arranged to make plenty of spacefor diners and servers to move around. The staff was professional and friendly, and were attentive without interrupting orgetting in the way. And the food. This is probably one of the best Italian places I've ever been. I had a scallop and pastadish that was light and flavorful because of good ingredients and expert preparation. The seafood was super fresh, probablycaught that morning. Everybody finished their meal- there wasn't anything left on a single plate. And the portions were justright, leaving you satisfied without being overly full. Any time I find myself in the Whittier area, I'll be back. Read more

I have visited this restaurant with my sister last night and our experience was terrible. We first took a chance on this... restaurant due to the good reviews and promising menu. When we arrived, no one greeted us and we had to resort to findingsomeone on our own. We then were seated outside, which was barely lit and very dark. We had to wait a while for service eventhough there was only one other table dining. I ordered the gnocchi and my sister ordered the rigatoni along with a cheese pizza(the cheapest one on the menu). The pizza wasn't bad but our pastas tasted as if the sauce was canned and had no flavor. Withonly drinking water, we were charged $60. We left dissatisfied and hungry since we did not finish the food due to theunappetizing flavor. The only perks of this place is the live guitarist who was very nice to us and played lovely music. Avoidthis place if you're looking for a good meal worthy of the price. Read more

We literally found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to roll the dice. Having just left services at Rose Hills several of us... were hungry. It?s a cute intimate Italian restaurant in Whittier. The staff was nice and polite and professional. The servicegreat. We sat outside in the very nice patio/courtyard of the restaurant and it was very pleasant. The food was excellent as wasthe wine. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Thanks so much! Read more
