Great atmosphere but foods come slow. It took 45 minute for two appetizers, one of them went wrong. It is now one hour and a... half passed at this point of writing. Didnt think of this long duration of dinner. If you have plenty of time to desperatelykill, this is the place. Foods taste okay, they are edible but no characters. Read more

A group of coworkers were brought here by a prospective contractor while visiting their factory. I was a little nervous when I... realized that it was basically sharing a building with a few small law offices and the like. But I was wrong. The patio sectionwe sat in was incredibly comfortable and foot traffic was directed away from diners. This might be more of an issue atlunchtime, but I can't speak to that. Despite looking a little cramped, the patio is cleverly arranged to make plenty of spacefor diners and servers to move around. The staff was professional and friendly, and were attentive without interrupting orgetting in the way. And the food. This is probably one of the best Italian places I've ever been. I had a scallop and pastadish that was light and flavorful because of good ingredients and expert preparation. The seafood was super fresh, probablycaught that morning. Everybody finished their meal- there wasn't anything left on a single plate. And the portions were justright, leaving you satisfied without being overly full. Any time I find myself in the Whittier area, I'll be back. Read more

I have visited this restaurant with my sister last night and our experience was terrible. We first took a chance on this... restaurant due to the good reviews and promising menu. When we arrived, no one greeted us and we had to resort to findingsomeone on our own. We then were seated outside, which was barely lit and very dark. We had to wait a while for service eventhough there was only one other table dining. I ordered the gnocchi and my sister ordered the rigatoni along with a cheese pizza(the cheapest one on the menu). The pizza wasn't bad but our pastas tasted as if the sauce was canned and had no flavor. Withonly drinking water, we were charged $60. We left dissatisfied and hungry since we did not finish the food due to theunappetizing flavor. The only perks of this place is the live guitarist who was very nice to us and played lovely music. Avoidthis place if you're looking for a good meal worthy of the price. Read more

We literally found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to roll the dice. Having just left services at Rose Hills several of us... were hungry. It?s a cute intimate Italian restaurant in Whittier. The staff was nice and polite and professional. The servicegreat. We sat outside in the very nice patio/courtyard of the restaurant and it was very pleasant. The food was excellent as wasthe wine. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Thanks so much! Read more

Being here for the second time, we love the service and the food, definitely will be coming back whenever we feel like having... italian food. We all have different items from the menu and so far we like what we have, even the coffee is really good, Read more

We celebrated a birthday with a small party of 14 people, so I he score is a consensus score with reviews of the dishes I... tasted. We shared the calamari appetizer and Antipasto Di La Casa. Both were amazing, but definitely prefer the calamari. Lightand flavorful. Antipasti was good, but not something i would typically order and was a group choice. As an entree, I orderedthe linguine pescatore and loved it. Flavors were on point and had generous portions of fish, calamari and shell fish. The saucewas light and delicious. I forgot to order it spicy, but a scoop or two of chili flakes solved all that for me. I tried a biteof pizza which was good and the lasagna, which was really good. Old school deep flavors with lots of meat and cheese. Saladsseemed to be fine. Two not so popular dishes were the Fettuccine con Pollo and Linguine Mare. The fettuccine was said to tastesour. I did try and understood the verdict, but thought it might be the asparagus or saffron that might be the culprit. Eitherway, I think it was meant to taste that way, but ?sour? or not, not something Anyone of us would order again. The linguine wasin a cream sauce and had different types of seafood. I prefer light red over cream sauces for seafood dishes like the one Iordered and I think my buddy now thinks the same :) The service was very pleasant and friendly, but slow. Maybe a bitoverwhelmed with staffing shortages or something on a busy Sat night with a separate wedding and party along with dinnerservice. If they had a full bar, I would not have minded, but I can only drink so much wine :) Outdoor decor is very nicethough. Thanks goodness it rarely rains in So Cal!! Read more

The ambience is very nice. Not happy with the service, they took too long. All our dishes came out at different times. 15 to 20... minutes after a few meals. We wanted to eat together but couldn't. The bread was my favorite. Won't go there again. Read more
