This was our first time visiting a Cracker Barrel; we received a gift card. Admittedly the gift card was given to us over a year... ago. When we tried to pay with it, it did not work. No attempt was made to discover the problem with the card. Additionally, wewere overcharged, which we caught before paying. The food is glorified fast food. It's mediocre at best. It took no time to be seated. But, We waited 45 minutes to receive our meals. Due to the waitress concentrate on the larger... dinner parties wanting a big tip. The last 3 visits we found the service was very slow and our food wasn't hot and fresh. The last time I ordered breakfast. My... eggs were cold, my hashbrwns and toast was cold. The waitress never came back around to check on us so I could send it back. Iate my sausage and drank my coffee. When she brought our ticket I told her and explained that I should only have to pay forwhat I ate. A manager spoke with us and apologized and only charged me for the sausage and coffee.
