I'm trying not to be critical. It was at the end of the day when I ordered. I think that had a lot to do with it. Chicken was... dry. I don't know why, maybe overcooked or because it was the last batch that was sitting too long under the warmer. If you'rein business, you need to plan ahead so the quality doesn't suffer. I ordered the mashed potatoes which did not taste good. Thepeople were nice, friendly and that is the reason why I'm hoping that they view this comment as a way of improving the business. It's better that I say this, than just walk away and not go back. Bad reviews can be a good way of improving those parts of abusiness that needs improvement. I wish them luck in their business. I was expecting some real southern comfort food but this is not that. It?s just a different cultures take on southern food. That... said it wasn?t bad, I thought the fried chicken was good but the waffles are? different? Not sure how they make them but thesewaffles were brown and not like the usual golden fluffy waffles I?m used to. The coleslaw is not what I would consider coleslawat all, or at least not the normal version. It was just sliced cabbage that tasted like it soaked in vinegar. No carrots ortraditional slaw sauce. Best fried chicken in Wichita, guaranteed. I gotta go here at least once every couple weeks because you get so much food for... your money. My only recommendation for this place is to get some sauce with your tenders, there's not much seasoning on them. Read more

This pan is missing 6 pcs lol as we dug in before the pic. Decided to try it for the first time after reading reviews and... honestly this chicken is the bomb !!!!! The meat inside was hot and juicy and the skin was crunchy im mad at myself for nottrying sooner !!! And they made our 24 pc ( dark ) fresh to order when we got it home it was still super hot but we poweredthrough the burning fingers lol. Loved it and will be back !
