When we dine in it is almost always a five star rating. Carryout was a 2 at best. All of our four orders were wrong in one way... or another (pancakes were missing, not enough jam, hashbrowns were burnt) and all of the food was cold even though we waited 15minutes once we arrived at the restaurant. We won't be calling in any orders again. Read more

I have only eaten here a hand full of times but every time I have never had an issue. The staff is friendly and I've never had... to wait to be seated. Depending on what time you get there for breakfast will determine the rush and wait time for food but allthe items come out fresh. Easy and cheap place to meet the family for breakfast before work or on the weekends when you feellike sleeping in. I'm also glad they did a remodel, it freshens the place up and doesn't feel so old. I probably haven't eaten at a village inn in 5+ years. Mainly because they've never impressed me. I do love breakfast at a... restaurant, for some odd reason it always tastes so much better than when you prepare it yourself at home. Upon sitting down anda booth the three of us were quickly given a menu and glasses of water. We ordered without issue and while we waited there wereseveral flies buzzing around us. The food arrived and the flies continued to fly around our table. In fact we joked that perhapswe should have brought a fly swatter. From what we can see our server had three tables two boots, and a table of six. She woulddisappear for long periods and several times I asked the busboys for a glass of water as ours had run dry. FYI The busboys willnot bring you water in fact they will barely even acknowledge your existence, pretty sure I scared one by even speaking to him. We bust our table and set all the dirty dishes on the end. Left our tip and paid. I can't say that this visit really impressedme. We did see a manager walking around and talking to several tables that apparently were regular customers. However we did notget any table talk. I'm sure at some point I'll go back, but more than likely it'll probably be a while. Read more

I had my almost 5mo daughter with me when I decided to get some lunch solo... everyone including management were so polite and... happy to meet her. I was so nervous to eat out alone with her for the first time but it went beautifully. I ordered the chixfried steak and eggs. Always my favorite. It was very good and hot. They always have full hands on deck and is one of the mostproficient places in town. 10/10 will always come again. Thank you everyone! Read more

The wife and I have been going here for over 6 yrs. off and on. The last 6 months a couple times a week. The dressed up guy... with the red hair and tie gets on my nerves. I am 66 and wife is 84. Clearly seniors. I have told this guy over and overagain we are seniors at the register. One time kidding. I said we are till seniors and will be from now on. But this guykeeps ringing us up with no discount. Never asks how the meal was or anything like that. Poor customer relations. But thefood is good and the price is good, so we keep going but I hate to have to deal with this kind of person. Read more

As always, I love this place. I had the country music star omelette with extra hash browns. So good. I asked for no onions, but... still got onions. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying. Read more

Maybe I caught them on a bad night. My waitress had someone shadowing her, which was fine, but neither girl was very friendly. I... ordered my drink, she dropped it off and I ordered she didn?t speak at all, walked to the next table to grab her tip money, walked to the back and then came back and asked again what I wanted. Brought out my cheeseburger, say it down and I had to catchher to ask for mayo. She sat it and my check down as she walked back to the kitchen, never asking if I needed anything else. Iguess napkins would?ve been too much. My burger was burnt in the outside but overall not bad. She or her shadow never came backby. As I got up the older couple next to me that had just sat down and ordered their drinks said ?she doesn?t seem very happy tobe here!? and I said neither of them do! The cashier asked how everything was I told him not good. I talked about the serverslack of attention, the burnt burger and the fact that I was charged extra for cheese- when the menu said it came with cheese! Hecomped my meal but said ?due to our quality of meat we have to cook them well done!? Which makes me question the quality of meatthey use!!?? Look I?m sure the pancakes and breakfasts are good, but this afternoon?s meal was not pleasant! I was going toorder a slice of pie to go but was never given the chance. Once I complained to the cashier he was quick to get me out of there! Read more

Great food with a wonderful selection to please everyone! Service is always fast and friendly. Village Inn is by far my favorite... restaurant when I'm in town. As an additional treat, every Wednesday is pie day. With every meal you can have a free slice ofone of their homemade fruit pies. To go is always an option! Read more
