It was ok. Ribs were a little dry bbq sauce on the hot bar was ehh the bottles by the register were alot better. If you love... great brisket ham or sausage then great. Really no flavor in any sides. Read more
This was the worst bbq I ever ate in my life. Brisket and turkey Bland no smoking flavor at all. Potatoes fries burned smashed... in a container, the potato salad absolutely disgusting looks like cottage cheese texture. I would never come eat here. I don?tunderstand why people like this. Read more
The building is not much to look at and not a place I would pick if I was driving by. But on our road trip I found this place on... Google and exited the interstate to check it out. Glad I did. The food was excellent. I got the pork shoulder and my husband gotthe sausage. The beans and slaw were also good. It?s set up cafeteria style so they give you the meat and you get your sides.The staff was very friendly. If I was a local, I?d eat here often. Read more
YEEEHAAAA!!!! Come on down to Branding Iron for some REAL Texas BBQ! Very reasonable prices, incredible historic atmosphere, and... friendly Texas hospitality. Most of my family is from Texas, so I cannot be fooled about integrity ???? I got the sliced beefand the smoked turkey, and hubby got the rib combo with sausage also. Cute little place! Just driving through the area. Got there just after they opened and there was already a line, which is always... a good sign. Had the combo plate of turkey and sausage with cole slaw and great French fries. Portions were fair! Pricereasonable. Staff was friendly and masked. Would highly recommend! Read more
For really good barbecue you can't beat The Branding Iron you can forget the chain outfits like Rib Crib and Dickey's Barbecue... Pit and the rest. Their sides are always good too but the meat is Bar None super.
