Service staff was loud. The food was great as usual and our waitress was prompt and courteous.
It's been awhile since I've been to IHOP but this visit was a great experience. I'm afraid I don't remember our servers name,... but she was very friendly and when I asked for advice on a bigger meal for my 10 yr old that was "bigger than a kids meal, butsmaller than the huge sampler" she suggested my kiddo get the senior sampler plate (I never would have looked there!). It wasjust like the sampler plate but all the portions were cut in half. My daughter loved it and it was just the right size forher. The food itself has changed also - I've never eaten the hash browns at any breakfast joint just because they're too oilyand I don't care for them. I always pass them off to my oldest daughter who doesn't mind grease in the least lol. I thought I'dtry ONE bite though just in case they appealed to me somehow and wow. They were NOT the hash browns I'm used to receiving. Iasked our server about it and she said they'd switched from using oil to using butter on the hash browns. It was absolutelydelicious and for the first time I actually ate my hash browns. (Sorry kid!) The pancakes were tasty, but they've changed therecipe I think, and they fell apart on the plate more than they used to and unless I'm mistaken I think they're slightly smallerthan they used to be. Maybe that was a fluke of this visit though. The prices were fairly high on the drinks - $3.19 for a soda,and my girls tea/lemonade were $2.59 each. So we spent over $8 just on drinks which is typical, but still painful. We'll go backto drinking water next time we go out, but for today this was a wonderful treat. Much better than last time. Steak omelet had more gristle than usual, a bummer. But friendly staff and no flies.
Wife had waffles &I had patty melt, good arrived hot and looks really nice on plate
IHOP is out of their minds. They left ONE poor girl to cover as the only wait staff for the entire restaraunt as well as the... cashier on the night shift. Whatever the stats are to forecast how busy they will be need to be re-examined and they need togive that girl a raise. She was single-handedly holding down the restaraunt and she (somehow) had a great attitude about it.I?ve never seen someone in the weeds like that and the manager of that store should be embarrassed. Ordered coffee, but they provided cream but no sugar, or utensils or straws for water (couldn't even stir my coffee). This... lasted at least 20 minutes. We had to ask the lady sweeping the floor bc we could not get ahold of our waitress. We did not seeour waitress from the time that we ordered, until our food came out. We asked for crispy bacon and got soft bacon. We orderedthe Spicy Poblano bowl, but got something totally different. The pancakes tasted like corn flour and did not come out with ourorder. Considering how long it took for our food to come out, it makes no sense. There were numerous other errors. Our waitresscorrected the errors as we brought them to her attention, but each time there was a very long wait time and there were stillerrors. Lots of wait staff standing around yet our waitress worked 6-7 tables including a large group that came after us. Wecan't believe lunch took so long. Our meal took approx 45 minutes to come out. Not sure what caused it, but we won't do thatagain. We walked in at around 1:45 and didn't get out until 3:10pm. And no, we did not just sit around talking, we couldn't waitto get out of there. We love IHOP Always great food and service. Clean with a good atmosphere! The kids love it too!
They didn't have raspberry it's not a good place to eat pancakes! Macdonald's pancakes much better. Hot and fresh coffee????
