I called in an order and due to a spotty connection, one of the burgers was left off. My cook/carhop was wonderful and had the... missing burger out so quickly that the other food didn’t get cold. All was delicious and I’m very happy. Thank you!!! Read more
Deep breath restaurant in town if you want a flat iron Burger old school style you can taste it. They make it the way they did... it way back then they still do it now and The Taste is still the same. Love their burger love their food. I just wish they wouldentice their onions. This was my 1st and last visit. My husband and I decided to give this place a try for lunch. We waited over a half hour, eating... into most his lunch break, for our order only for my chicken tenders and fries to come our burned. I was disappointed. I bet thechicken and fries would've been good if they weren't burned. I didn't complain because we had to leave, so my husband could getback to work. He wasn't really impressed with his burger either after hearing about how great the burgers are here. I understandit takes a while to cook to order, so I'd order in advance if on a time crunch. I'm going to give a 2 star review, however the food is a negative star review. First point, yes I read the reviews and the... replies from the owner. I anticipated a long wait, so I have no complaint on the time frame. Second point, no the employees arecertainly not friendly, much less overly so, however that also is not a complaint. I'd prefer they didn't stand and chat at eachvehicle upon delivery of food, because that only delays every other order further. So, that also is not an issue forme. Finally, however, is the quality of food. As a classically trained private chef, I am probably more critical of food thanthe average consumer. There is no excuse for the food we received. We ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich basket. It says"mayo", that was definitely NOT mayonnaise on the sandwich. It was Miracle Whip or a version of. The steak was about 1/8-1/4"thick and fried to a burnt crisp (see photos). The fries were horrible, no salt at all when they come from the fryer, which iswhen they should be seasoned. Old fashioned drive in appeal! Huge, delicious servings and really reasonably priced! Plus the guy who delivered it to our car... had a smile and was friendly (you don’t always get a smile and a friendly word from folks nowadays) but this was very nice andwe will be going back definitely to try the burgers.
