Deep breath restaurant in town if you want a flat iron Burger old school style you can taste it. They make it the way they did... it way back then they still do it now and The Taste is still the same. Love their burger love their food. I just wish they wouldentice their onions. This was my 1st and last visit. My husband and I decided to give this place a try for lunch. We waited over a half hour, eating... into most his lunch break, for our order only for my chicken tenders and fries to come our burned. I was disappointed. I bet thechicken and fries would've been good if they weren't burned. I didn't complain because we had to leave, so my husband could getback to work. He wasn't really impressed with his burger either after hearing about how great the burgers are here. I understandit takes a while to cook to order, so I'd order in advance if on a time crunch. I'm going to give a 2 star review, however the food is a negative star review. First point, yes I read the reviews and the... replies from the owner. I anticipated a long wait, so I have no complaint on the time frame. Second point, no the employees arecertainly not friendly, much less overly so, however that also is not a complaint. I'd prefer they didn't stand and chat at eachvehicle upon delivery of food, because that only delays every other order further. So, that also is not an issue forme. Finally, however, is the quality of food. As a classically trained private chef, I am probably more critical of food thanthe average consumer. There is no excuse for the food we received. We ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich basket. It says"mayo", that was definitely NOT mayonnaise on the sandwich. It was Miracle Whip or a version of. The steak was about 1/8-1/4"thick and fried to a burnt crisp (see photos). The fries were horrible, no salt at all when they come from the fryer, which iswhen they should be seasoned. Really mmmaazing burgers! This is a retro diner with a long history of flavor. Despite being in a very old building, the kitchen... is ridiculously clean. You can tell that this place is well taken care of by people who take pride in their work. Clean venthoods, bathrooms, and even the roof vent hood was clean and not leaking decades of grease. Amazing burger, very much likeSonic but a million times better. I asked for extra pickles and they gave me two layers with tomato I'm the middle, it wasperfect. Read more
Overall, this place was decent. I could have sworn that last time I was here the CFS sandwich wasn't made with this type of... bread. I could be mistaken, but the sandwich wasn't bad! The fries were good & the DP was just alright. Tasted like thecarbonation was off or too much syrup. Read more

Old fashioned drive in appeal! Huge, delicious servings and really reasonably priced! Plus the guy who delivered it to our car... had a smile and was friendly (you don’t always get a smile and a friendly word from folks nowadays) but this was very nice andwe will be going back definitely to try the burgers.
