Shame on this owner for refusing to allow someone who was offered a free meal by a fellow customer to eat there. Calling the... police and banning someone from a restaurant simply for being less fortunate than some. A kind customer offered to pay for thisperson?s meal and was chastised by the owner. Witness a woman with a big heart tell the waitess she was paying for whatever this homeless/mental I'll man wanted to eat. The... owner later called the police to have the man banned, the homeless man wasn't doing anything wrong. The owner told the lady hedidn't need her business. We walked out with her and get group! Recommended a few people here and all said the food was stale and about 1 week old. So I tried it myself today and it was in... fact bad. Brisket was reheated about 4x, tots has a funny old grease taste and turkey was bland. Read more

Not sure this is the best BBQ Texas has to offer but here it goes.. My girlfriend got sick 5 hours later after eating the steak... fingers and BBQ. I ate a chopped brisket sandwich with onion rings. I got more portions from Ribcrib after looking at my order.The onion rings batter could have the dead sea water mix as the salt was high. I am a big fan of eating brisket without sauce.Their sandwich is smaller than a Big Mac, this is Texas right? The sauce?, I know a 70 year old dude who they could do businesswith to replace the sauce. I had a brisket sandwich in Pensacola last year, the owner was from Texas and served a Texas sizesandwich. I can say they have a clean business with good menu options. They did take an order 30 minutes prior to closing, butwith the pricing being too high and a sick girlfriend later. The food here is ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! I haven't had better BBQ anywhere!! Everyone likes different places, but for my family... and myself, this place is where it's at!! Staff is always so friendly and nice!! My oldest son had the chopped BBQ sandwich andit's pretty good size and is awesome! My husband had the 2 meat plate with ribs and brisket with a side of Mashed potatoes andokra. It was phenomenal!! Their toast is SUPERB!! I had the 2 meat playe as well. Sausage with sliced brisket. Theirbrisket....OMG!! is wonderful!! Their BBQ sauce is fantastic!! My middle son had a cheeseburger and he said it was delicious! Mydaughter had the grilled cheese and she ate it all!! Painfully small portions. I ordered the brisket with crisp bark and you can see there was almost no bark at all. It tasted a... little more like dry roast beef. The green beans were pretty good but again small portions. My son's smoked turkey was good too.I'm still hungry after eating here for $11 though. I hate to compare restaurants in a review but I never leave Branding Ironwith an empty stomach, it's cheaper and tastes better. Read more

Wow...where to start. Got in there for dinner and it wasn't busy. Lady behind the counter took our order and was nice. The guy... cooking in the back looked like he worked at a truck stop in a horror movie. The other guy I swear was wearing swimtrunks.....but he was nice. Food took forever to come out. No mayo or pickles on chicken sandwich, club sandwich had no mayoeither. Burger did not have cheese and was very dry.
