Thought I'd put up a review as the food just didn't match the 4 star rating the restaurant had at the time. I think others that... say the food here is great must be local and not have tried Chinese food elsewhere - it wouldn't make sense otherwise. If itsthe best Chinese food on the whole of the Jersey shore, something has gone very wrong! We are are a couple from the UK and havebeen to 7+ Chinese restaurants across all the USA in the last 3 weeks on a road trip. The food from here was genuinely verydisappointing, however the staff were nice so it's just a comment on the quality of the food. We had 3 appetisers and 2 mains.The dim sum was genuinely like stodgy old bread. The others pretty poor quality. Mains just wernt worth the money. Lack of tasteand quite obviously cheap ingredients, rubbery chicken etc. I wouldn't bother trying it. Read more
Well worth the money, and the food was delicious ????. So I read the reviews before we came here. People did say they gave... big portions, but I forgot that when we were ordering. The meals was fantastic. Fresh wanton soup ????, tea ???? was perfect.I'm glad we gave this place a try. When I came on Friday, it was closed, but while my granddaughter and wife was on theboardwalk I called to see if they were open. I was shocked that someone answered. I'm glad they did answer. Wife & I stopped in for dinner. Wife ordered the spare ribs combo and I ordered the Chicken w/garlic combo. Spare ribs were a... bit tough and under seasoned. Egg rolls were ok. I?ve been here twice. Once 4 years ago and again last week just to make sure I wasn?t dreaming. This place? It?s the real deal,... folks. Authentic, original, and charming. The service is quick for dine-in. (Sorry, never called for delivery) Mind you, theywon?t kill you with kindness when you?re ordering if you sit down. Honestly, it?s refreshing. Our waiter was so damn efficientand awesome. No bull, just consistently good service and food. My wife and I not only respect that, but we appreciate it. You?rethere because you?re hungry and want Chinese food, right? Right. So, you?ll be grinning ear to ear from the pure quality of thefood. The FOOD. My god. 15/10.
